"Every building has a story, Some are easy to figure out, Some you have to piece together & some you may never know" We are J&E Adventures! A husband & wife team in the world of Urbex. We work to bring the past to life & share stories of places explored. Because, behind each wall are the remains of laughter, tears & stories needed to be told. Exploring's a passion, an art, a fun & exciting adventure. It's a fascination, thrill & a dangerous risk taken when entering the unknown. Urbex is all about the Urban World & stories left behind. It's made of people who share our interest. We're Photographers, Videographers & artists. We're Explorers, Adventurers, thrill seekers & risk takers. We follow 3 main rules of Urbex *Take nothing but pictures *Leave nothing but footprints *Break nothing but silence We talk to locals if possible & never enter a place locked or posted. Join our journey, as we explore footprints of the past & capture what they become, in what's known as the Urban World!
They are scattered all over the catskills.. Where these exact ones are, I can't remember. It was sometime ago we were there..Thanks for watching. We really appreciate it
Well yes, a real nice Sunday drive, looks like pure Bliss to me, especially at 11:20. 👍😉 Much enjoyed the stop at that old abandoned train depot too. Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
Glad ya liked it.. we go for a ride when we can.. over all it's about a 5-6 hour ride..clears the brain a little.. The old depot is cool.. been wanting to stop for a while.. there is a old grain mill we pass by. Want to check that out at some point.. Thanks again brother..take care
@@jeadventures007 I also found that house you said you explored in an older video on Google Earth, when it's viewed from the road out front it's abandoned, when viewed from the road on the side, it looks nicer with a car in the driveway and a trampoline in the yard. I found that pretty cool.
I lived there in 77 to 78 it was haunted even then and they were still doing shock therapy on people including myself and the only reason why I was there was because my dad had molested me and I wound up pregnant with his child so he hid me here until I had the child and then they told me the baby died so I have no idea but anyway I'm fine now except for the memories of this place
8-6-24 First view. Gosh that was nice, appeared to have a screened in porch too, I like those. Once the roof goes in any spot the rest is soon to follow, an educated guess tells me it's not even there no more. Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
Happy Friday to you's too! I thought I'd get to see the stereotypical salesman with his stereotypical toupee, plaid leisure suit and cigar. In hindsight you's should've brought Frank along, dressed him as such and set him behind the desk. So appropriate. Oh well. Nice droning! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
That would be funny as hell.. but unfortunately frank is not the best travel companion..lol.. he's pretty needy.. .I am getting better with the drone.. thanks for watching man. We really appreciate it
7-25-24 First view. Slobs but they did have two ironing boards, prolly used neither. Thanks for the tour! 👍🤠 Note: 7:27 Took a screenshot and used Google lens, that showed nothing but chisels, putty knives and screwdrivers. I could make out "Boston Warehouse" on it's blade, Googled that and found it to be a cheese spreader.
7-25-24 First view. Trailer manufacturers, always bragging about their cheap quality by using plastic doorknobs throughout is the best comment I can give. 👍😲
Oh, you ain't kidding.. as we were going through it, I was like, " I could use that, and that, oh and that," lol.. but they did go to a good home as far as I know. Thanks for watching. We really appreciate it.
My mother worked there from the mid sixties until she retired in the late eighties. As a Kid I remember being in almost all of these buildings. There used to be a credit union in the castle building. And she retired from Garvin. Next door there was a recreation center and a pool. I remember it all well, we used to live on the intersection of Robinson and Fairview near the park. In those early times, patients still had the horse shoe lobotomy scars. Scared the crap out of me as a kid
7-19-24 I like someone's addition to the painting at 19:15. I also saw some nice headboards in that last building. Do you know if the place is still there? 👍🤠
Yup..as far as I know ow it's still there..I guess there was a major fire..Gee wonder how that happen. Sorry we haven't replied to previous comments. Been running around like our hair is on fire..We ate doing a live stream at 8 pm est tonight.. You get a chance, stop on in
7-15-24 first view. Ugly even before the decay, nice garage though. Maybe it was purchased for the land it sits on and waiting on good finances to build new. 👍🤠
7-13-24 First view. I could do it. Ideal for one. I can't be around another person's habits too too long. I gave it a name - "The Quickie House" Thanks for the quickie tour! 👍🤠
7-13-24 First view. It's a beaut at my perspective, old, screened in porch, two very nice stoves in the kitchen and a metal roof. Finish refinishing the floors and it's pretty much is move in ready by my lower standards, I wouldn't ask for more. It wasn't fair the lady didn't get to finish it and move in though. Did it have a basement? I noticed a door with an old time deadbolt lock at 2:10. Also, how is the house today if you know. Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
I live a few mins away from this place, and really enjoyed the coverage and overall video, thank you! Dying to see what the other buildings look like. Also, I kept thinking you were going to run into a homeless person, when your friend joked and said “ahh” I jumped 😂
Thank you.. Glad you enjoyed it.. Luckily we dident run in to a homeless person.. And the friend that went ahh... thats my wife..she's a goof ball..lol.. thanks again for watching. We really appreciate it
I have a Sears and roebuck that looks like that little 22.. the lady in the log cabin across the street before she passed away she said I got one of those in the basement you can have it.. I said you sure I'll buy it from you she goes no it was my husband's and he's not around anymore...
Some sort of disfunction went on there I belive. I noticed two of those propane bottles in the cabinet were shrunk wrapped together, I bet those were full. Maybe the occupant/s were asphyxiated by the heater. Maybe a tree branch punctured the hole in the roof and that was the last straw. I very much like the lot's seclusion, it's a beaut! Thanks for tour you two! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
A 5 year old video (three in one), if it's still there I bet it's just a heap by now. 1:23 That and I love a room where the windows go all the way to the floor. Additional note: Have you ever viewed this one for yourselves? It has major, major edit mishaps, 19:32 to 38:28 is pretty much a repeat duplicate of the footage from the start, then the slideshow, then repeats yet again at 39:57. Then finally the slideshow for a second time. Maybe you just wanted a long video. 🤔 Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
If this was Baltimore or the metro area, those go carts would've been long gone. High Insurance? Let's just wrap ourselves in multiple layers of bubble wrap and call it a day eh? Thanks for the tour you two! 👍🤠
Oh you aint kidding man.. we were surprised they were there.. I think that is why it closed.. High costs and no one coming..Bubble wrap would be fun... thanks for watching man.
1:04 Rabbit hole time! Was curious about Collin Renaldo to try to learn how he died. No luck. I found this: Collin James Renaldo BIRTH 19 Mar 1994 DEATH 2 Sep 2008 (aged 14) BURIAL Saint Martin's Cemetery. Langford, Erie County, New York, USA I also found the place on Google Earth. There appears to be a house and a barn with a roofless silo that looks interesting across the street and a little bit south. 👍😉
Yeah.. the place has some really cool stuff.. The house and silo down the road is kinda weird.. no one lives there, but if you step foot on the property, a old grumpy guy is right there.. pops up ott no where
Joy joy all gone out of that one. Increased pavement in a watershed area will cause more flooding in low lying ares. Heavier development upstream. Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
With as many that pass in a nursing home, I wouldn't sleep to well in that hotel, not if it's in the same exact spot. My mind would wander and I don't even belive in ghosts. 👍😐
I'm with ya brother..And yes, it's in the exact same spot.. Same size, just 1 floor taller.. At some point, we want to do a where are they now kinda video..
