It definitely makes it easier that someone’s always willing to go to disney with me😂 but Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing! We will be at Disney as well in December it’s my favorite time to go!

Honestly slow paced Disney trips are so fun in their own way! I feel like it always reinvigorates my love for Disney because I'm forced to slow down and just take it all in- all the little details etc

When I was little I didn’t understand/know about pin trading I would just buy pins I liked, and now I want to start trading so I will be bringing my old pins that I’m not in love with and per some videos I’ve bought some Disney pins on sale (from shop Disney and boxed lunch) to also trade
Always love a good “what’s in my park bag” vlog! Before my trip, I make a quick stop at Starbucks to grab a bunch of straws and carry them into the parks 🤣 Always have, probably always will!
I love your videos they get me exited for my next trip as an annual passholder!! The best pin trading tip I can give is going around world showcase and trading in different countries or resort hopping and finding pins there!!
Loved watching your essentials! My Disney park bag tip: just bring a handful of plastic throw away straws in your bag for the day. I've tried the reusable straw thing and carrying around a wet sticky straw in your bag or taking time to wash it after was annoying. It is easier to whip out a plastic straw and throw it away when you are done.
Yeah I haven’t found the best way to keep a reusable one clean and dry in my park bag! Especially because like you said, it’s hard to find time to clean them when I’m just ready to move on to the next ride/thing at Disney😂

It was humid, but we only had 1-2 storm showers for about 30 mins a day. It would randomly pour and we would hide out in a show/ride and when we would come out it would be sunny again!
@@TheMackenzieBorg did anything get canceled due to the storms? Did the firework shows still go on? I’m mainly worried about mickeys not scary Halloween party.
@@christopherboydandmartinsc9322 If there is lighting with the storms, attractions that are outdoors will close down for safety! But they go right back up as soon as it’s safe to do so. I haven’t heard of a party being canceled with rain, unless it was a very serve storm (hurricane, tornado which are rare). Fireworks have been canceled due to severe weather but if it’s just a light rain they still go on. I’ve watched them on Main Street under an umbrella and honestly it was even more magical!
Glad you had such a great trip! I usually go with my sister too, so it was nice to see another sister trip. 👯♀️ I live in CA and my family lives in FL so I get to both Disneyland and Disney World. Your observations of Disneyland were spot on. I love the parks but the magic ends after you leave the gates. So convenient and has all that classic nostalgia though. Also, I find that there is a little bit more shade in the Disneyland park than most other parks and California Adventure has pretty good amount of seating at the outdoor dining options. I’ve never had to eat over a trashcan like so many people do in Florida parks. 😂
Yes I think it’s important for people going for the first time to just know it’s different from Disney World but there are so many things that make it amazing in its own way! Also this is a great point! There really weren’t that many unshaded areas walking through Disneyland, and we never had to use a trashcan to eat either😂 Plus the weather in California is just a lot better which I think helps a ton!
