"bad passphrase" indicates that the passphrase you entered for your SSH key might be incorrect. The passphrase is "betty" Make sure there are no typos or incorrect characters. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to send me a mail besthortechhub@gmail.com
Dear Tessy Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! Regarding the error, please send me a mail (besthortechhub@gmail.com) So I can provide further assistance in debugging the issue and getting the error resolved. Best of luck with your projects!
how do you specify the number of bytes as task 1 requires that the Number of bits in the created key to be created 4096 , when i tried to enter "ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -p betty -f ~/.ssh/school" it said too many arguments, i just have to enter it one by one and there was no option to specify the size.. so my checks weren't checking
Hello Chioma, I understand that you are trying to specify the number of bytes for Task 1, where the created key requires 4096 bits. but it seems like you might have accidentally included a lower case "-p" argument, which resulted in the "too many arguments" error. To specify the key size while generating the RSA key pair, you can use the following command: ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -P betty -f ~/.ssh/school Then use the command below as the content of your Task 1: ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -P betty -f school If you encounter any further issues or have additional questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm here to assist you.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I will certainly take your feedback into consideration for upcoming videos I value your input as it helps me grow as a content creator. Best regards
