I feel like you don't fully understand how to use his ult. And most of the times you zoned with ult was totally unnecessary. Btw, you can cut enemies retreat route if they come through the jungle to contest overlord instead of zoning, since you have the advantage

Lu bu is a teamfight hero you can easily gain advantage for joining teamfight than farming in the lane. And I still think half tank half damage item for Lu Bu is the most suitable for all the patches.

LEARN to use sprint on allain, not only that u are still just as lethal as having the execute, u can also bail from a bad initiations. That is if you are learning, Now if you are good with sprint on alain u will unlock whole new limits, u will not get juked as easily, u can pace ur teamfight better and u can always reposition mid skill 1 casting for a much better spread of damage. Not using allain with sprint is playing allain with only 50% of his power and potency
Yes I have used sprint it helps to catch enemies late game and helps to reposition yourself , but I prefer execute spell against hero like arthur Or DUN and I feel like his ultimate and 2nd SKILL is enough to dive into back line , any ways thanks for the suggestion.😁
Tried him several times on simulation. He is easily killed compared to other mages. Note that he isn’t really going to make a high kill count. He is more of a utility mage by providing ground control around towers, when in group fights, and stealing enemy jungle. He can clear minions and jungle creeps very quickly. Use that as an advantage.
