Sexy ass g8 gt... almost bought one for my first car as an impulse buy but dealer was asking 45k cash, 60k financed, and it had severe panel gapping indicating it had been in one major wreck or multiple minor ones. Those things weren't 45k brand new 😂
50 years under cars and never heard of anyone dying in a pit but have seen it on two post lifts (2 deaths) I prefer to have a pit but govt.here in cahoots with equipment suppliers, made them illegal.
In your 50 years you probably seen how stupidly large and hesvy vehicles have gotten. I more like it as a way of just future proof a shop a little.more
@@ThinkBuildTest exactly but he's saying about stuff falling. But stuff falling is a problem lift or pit. Except pit is safer. Since it goes up slower than a car or part comes down lol
@@michaelgallacher4800 all these things have to align. But someone has to push the button a naturallyopen contact. A lift gravity is waiting to kill you. The pit has to have an input to fail.
Wow , thank you soo much for your information, am about to buy and do a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, but am buying the valve body with all the solenoid on it , from eBay . I hope it’s not used , they said it’s new. Lol
@@robertovargas1823 maybe a completely different setup for Nissan. Buying the full assembly probably would have been fine for me on ebay. But the oem mfg doesn't even offer individual solenoids for mine.
@@shadowcat4963 this is my friends. I have a stinger that we really like. Definitely those ws6 are nostalgic for growing up in the 90s the black bat mobile.
@@shadowcat4963 haven't thought about this car in 20 years. Lol. Do you have the bump on the hood? I think cash for clunkers got allot of these off the road as well as allot of other 90s vehicles. Now we have to spend 5k to get a 500 dollar roller.
For the condenser do you have to remove the Freon before replacing and are there any gaskets you need for the air conditioner fittings, thanks 🙏🏾 in advance!?
@@4411825 well if you just happen to have a "leak" then all the freon would be empty already... it is gas and disapates in the atmosphere but technically an environmental friendly mechanic would have the proper way to dispose of it. Yes anytime you open a vacuum system like an ac you should replace orings. There should be a kit for your car.
Sensors are over built, what you would want is a plastic "key" that inserts into the remote. When the operator walks away he takes the "key" with them and the remote becomes inoperable. Like a treadmill.
