Hi I had this neighbour who was from Malta. Use to bring this big bucket back from Malta. Full off kinda soft nougat very sweet. Any ideas what this could have been. Was the best sweet I've tasted

An excellent traditional product in varied form and taste. These are the brave people who made Malta what it was with its "personality"'. Unfortunately Malta is being taken over by the large Supermarkets and the small local family shop is finding it difficult to keep existing. The modern building is changing our old ways. One hopes that people like Peter and Mari. It's not your Malta, nor is it your North America, Australia, or New Zealand! It's so characteristic of these people that they claim ownership of areas wherever they go. These agents are under the guise of innocence are always look for an opening to enter and begin laying their seeds on your yard.
I agree the need to address the factors limiting tourism. That's the Airport. A second parallel runway would be an obvious improvement but I know space is limited. First step should be to address the limiting factors of the terminal. You need to at least double the number of aircraft stands. A second terminal on the other side of the runway maybe. The existing terminal for flights to/from EU countries which is the bulk of existing traffic and the second terminal for other flights. A few coaches could be used for passengers who need to move between terminals.
