even soldiers of the badguy army had families they loved and cared for, were fathers of sons and daughters they loved and wives they wanted to see! and even their families and kids mourn them and miss them
Heck, even Visari was warning his people that the ISA would blow them all to hell, and that's exactly what happened at the end of KZ3. I hope this'll one day build up to us fighting against the ISA as the Helghast. while the Helgans are pretty bad themselves, after all I've read and seen, I'm convinced the ISA have always been the true villains of this series.
Honestly I wouldn't mind bowsette if I didn't already know that's bowser. Maybe in another universe Bowsette is an original character from Nintendo and does decide to stop stealing Peach and just decides to hang out with Mario instead.
Come on guerrilla, it's not difficult, just do a killzone again, just one game, that's all I ask of you, do a killzone 5 where we play on the side of the helghast
Lore wise the entire ISA Invasion should’ve been riddled with Extreme fatigue, Cancers, etc etc. Simply due to being on a planet they never stepped foot on. The Plot armor for the ISA never made sense to me. I would’ve loved to play Killzone 2 & 3 as Helghan Soldier.
Its funny how things come full circle, started our hauling beets to the pile grounds then i worked with silage for a few years, now i load beets at the pile grounds into trucks hauling them to the suger factory.

Honestly Killzone has some really complex and intelligent lore to it while the helghast are clearly the "bad guys" the ISA isnt too good either ive never played the games but have read a good bit of lore Wasnt it the ISA who genocided an entire planet and the helghast are just the descendants of essentially slaves who were abandoned to thier fates and became mutated by the helghan environment? To me its understandable why the helghast would have such a raging hatred for the ISA and humanity because it was humanity that allowed them to suffer although this doesnt justify becoming essentially diet space nazis i can understand why they are the way they are
Helghast did nothing wrong, the ISA are the real villains since they invaded Helghan, they thought the helghast are attacking them but they are only defending their planets, there is another reason ISA forces are evil, there was this scene where the ISA leader killed the main character when he approached Stahl
You're expected to root for the protagonists, and then you read the lore and figure out exactly how much shit the Helghast have been through in their history. Nobody can be upset at them for hating the entire freaking world around them when they've lost almost everything because of it.

The ISA/UCN started the war against the Helghast first due to a monopoly the Helghast had over space travel. The Helghast were reduced to a shadow of their former selves and exiled to Helghan after the First Extrasolar War due to the UCN wishing to exert control and make an example of them. It was the ISA that struck back with lethal force when the Helghast attempted to remove them peacefully from the Alpha Centauri system due to wanting to protect themselves against UCN aggression. The Helghast were forced into submission after trying to protect themselves. The ISA and government of Earth were the real bad guys.
