The Kamp Podcast is hosted by Ryan Weddle and Andrew Stravers of the band Katastro. Join us as we tell stories from our life as musicians touring the country and finding our way in the sudden loss of our singer. Take a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to sacrifice everything you have to follow your dream and hear about all our mistakes on the way. Welcome to Kamp!
Produced by The Motivated Mind Group in Chandler AZ.
Great conversation, lot of deep stuff here. Was hoping there was going to be more of a dive in about how you guys connected and then dive into the song that you guys made that hasn’t been released.
Dude, Mouse, I literally went to a rave once completely sober and my friends tried to force feed me E lol but I think it saved my life bc I almost drowned in the pool
Love you boys so much! Listen every day and my daughter who is 6 knows all your music. We fish and paddle board where we are from in CO and we made a new rad set of friends one night fishing when they asked me what I wanted to listen to and of course I said Katastro and they LOST THEIR MIND someone else loved you guys as much as them. Allll my love!!
what a lovely monday morning over in the uk it is blazing sun and the podcast playing in my ears whilst i have a lovely walk to the store for foodshop monday vibes
No more feeling sorry, I see strength and growth. Katastro is art 🎨 thank you for keeping it real. It's nice to know what you guys are experiencing. We are all not so different.
Red Rocks is magical ✨️ I'm so glad I got to see you, I'm a newer fan. It takes longer for the good stuff to make it to TN. I can't wait for the album. #ajcforever #uteot 🤘
I was there. I didn’t get into katastro until 2020 and never got a chance to see you guys play. That Red Rocks performance with Dirty Heads was beautiful.
Next time you guys are in Huntington Beach and don't hit me up my feelings are going to be hurt! You could have crashed at my place and I had a bunch of shake for you guys ;-)
I 100% started believing that idea about songs coming from elsewhere (I'm Christian) but it literally feels like the songs are in the air and whoever uses them gets them lol after hearing so many verses I like heard in my sleep and tried to work with but took to long and then heard someone else making something really cool with the literal same little thing I was thinking
The hot salsa is like going into a different dimension lol like that only happened bc you asked lololol but dude you're so lucky he didn't like think someone was trying to kill him with the blade lol I'd get so paranoid if that happened. I complained and thought someone I knew was trying to poison me when she gave me a moldy bread lol once lol
I just turned 30 this year and kamp has made me even personally think about a lot of the stuff you guys are talking about, I can relate to a lot of it and for that I thank you guys for still keeping kamp going. It’s helping me realize where I need to grow as a person ❤️❤️🏕️
