Sounds a bit like Danny Elfman's Hulk theme... Pretty interesting Black Suit theme. I like the nods to Ludwig Goransson's symbiote theme hidden underneath. I have a similar idea for a Black Suit theme that does that...just need to finish it.
This gives you a proper idea of how much of a problem this thing is. This rendition of his theme makes it sound like he'd show every 'Multiversal threat' we got thus far in the MCU what a true *_Cosmic Horror_* is supposed to look like.
I think Clark Kent finds a way around it, he is the prisoner, an alien on the world without family, has to work, has to conform, then he finds the other half, transforms and hes absolutely free, he can even not exist and go to the phantom zone any time he wants.
Freedom is a funny concept, because the fact we exist isnt freedom because we cant not exists at the same time.. so freedom is half a world and the other half we live at the same time is prison.. we do both simultaneously and have to find a healthy balance.
Just because Kal-El can perhaps help save the world, the responsibility is on all people to keep the world safe. He’s just one man. Ok so he can fly and has some strength and certain supernatural abilities, but he’s a symbol of hope. Of what mankind can strive to be. He’s not all hope that lies within every person. He surely wants to be loved like anyone else that’s the real hope of the world not catching planes.
For those who never heard and for those who wanna share it. HERE IS THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
Spot quickly went from villain-of-the-week to Lovecraftian nightmare with this score. Also, the deep chanting in the background gives me Bear Mcreary's "Ghidorah" vibes.
I love how he was hit with a bagel in the first movie and then in the second he becomes a multiverse villain, reminding me of the everything bagel from Everything Everywhere All At Once
