I'll write your cares away That I might spare you pain Let everybody say that I'm gone for you Say you're my baby We're sublimating I'll write a hymn again (I'll write a hymn again) I'll be your woman (woman) Keep on believing it I brought healing Oh, baby I'll wrap myself around You where we can't be found I'll hide you from the world 'Til we're forgotten Say you're my baby We're sublimating I'll write a hymn again (I'll write a hymn again) I'll be your woman (woman) Keep on believing it I brought healing Oh, baby In the morning, I'll be All better, better, yeah In the morning, I'll be All better, better, yeah Our bodies have betrayed us In a million different ways Oh, in the morning, I'll be All better, better, yeah
Always felt like this got overlooked during peak chillwave times. Don't get me wrong, I love Beach House and Washed Out, but these guys deserve more love!
I still can't fully decipher this song, but after my nine millionth listen, it sounds like a woman confessing that she had an affair with her friend's male lover, and that she's apologetic and feels guilty about it. And goddam, what a visceral song.
oh, that’s nice. over saturation is cool, but you’re dipping into grunge, might as well kurt that guitar. just one song. 😅. love your work. i’ll shut up now.
Just go down the rabbit hole man, this was the first song I heard. Need your love, origins, I’ll be better in the morning, and deep in the woods should be a good start for ya. Oh, and I’m callin’! I’m Callin’ and Deep in the woods vids are dark and I’m here for it.
"I'm riding high up watching over silent things" ❤ 😘👌 Beautiful everything on this track. Songwriting, vocals, percussion, that little dun-dun piano 'clang' at 1:29 , the brevity of the song being less than 2 minutes - everything is perfect on this one.
