My name is Babyjosus aka BJ and I used to be a Gwent streamer on Twitch for Team Mulligan, Team Rockstar and Team Bandit Gang. Now I have decided to act as a lone wolf, something that I have been familiar with throughout my entire life.
The idea behind the channel is to showcase my homebrews that I have created and gained success with on the ladder in Gwent.
I hope you enjoy the content that I make and that you will cheer me on to continue working on my RU-vid channel. If you want to see more about my personal life, I have added a link to my Instagram account for you to checkout.
@@Babyjosus saving 1 leader charge is the best way, don't think there is an actual better way of doing it. Maybe the discard packet is a good one too to put the right cards in the graveyard, and bran, so the veterans would be even higher. Heulyn is another great card to thin the deck and put some veterans in the grave without much pain in the ass.
another combo that i used a LOT on my first self-wound deck was the Melusine grind. Putting its power to around 20-30 (using it as soon as possible) and constantly damaging it until 2 pts and using restore was great. Don't know if it fits the deck, just throwing some random ideas out there
@@marlos6491 Melusine would be a great alternative to Greatsword actually! I could tinker around with that as well. The deck would likely change around some and have more synergy with rain!
It's great I find out your chanel (thx YT algorythms!) I'm big fan of content creators who make, create own decks not only play meta net-decks. You have my subscription and likes 👍. Greetings from Poland!
YAY!! I've really been waiting for your uploads... patiently... I really hope whatever's going on in your life is now settled, so you will have time to upload more videos. No pressure of course! just really glad ur back!!
That squirrel in the first game was brutal. I'm not the biggest fan of Skellige outside of rain, but I'll check this one out just because it's one of your brews
The deck is all about making Greatsword as big as possible. We can do this by abusing the ability of Draig Bon-Dhu and rezzing Greatsword out from the graveyard, preferably with Sigrdrifa, to setup the ultimate meme dream of a wombo combo with last leader charge, Hym and Restore. We can play Draig Bon-Dhu atleast two times because of Fucusya and Renew. Although I rather use Renew on Covenant of Steel or Champion of Svalblod. The second Draig Bon-Dhu target is always aimed to be An Craite Warrior. PS: By no means is this a deck that will let you climb the rankings, it's just about having fun.
Feels like battle against rank 30 player. Deck itself is quite meh, requiring tons of setup, enemy having zero damage and you going card down. You can make 9 constructs Nilfgaard without meme copy strat, instead going for more consistent revives, unit reshuffle, putting construct back in deck and hyperthinning no unit style with Letho as extra AoE colossus. The problem is - it has no points against tall slammers like Ogres, vulnerable to tall removal and initial draw can be horrible.
Yeah, it deserved more games for sure! The few other wins didn't do the deck justice in my eyes. Working on the next video now. Another meme deck. Hopefully that one is more than one game 😂
I have always been fond of the interaction between Vilgefortz: Renegade and Imperial Practitioner. Sadly, I have only seen the pair played with Tibor Eggebracht and I figured that has to change. So, I have been brainstorming about the idea and the only thing that made sense to me is: Constructs. This because of the variety of Neutral Construct cards that can be played. And with each Construct that is being played, the more powerful that they get. PS: I have been playing this deck on and off this week and I am still stuck at rank 5. So by no means is this a deck that will let you climb the rankings.
The kambi hitting kolgrim was a sight of two sided coin luck and a serious case of a deserved Nilfgaard moment lol love this deck personally a consistent variation of rain that can actually win against control
One time I woke up in the middle of the night and had a vision to create a deck with Ogroids and Shupe. When searching the deckbuilder for Ogroids, I stumbled upon a card called Spontaneous Evolution. This gave my vision a slightly different direction that I could never think of before. Because if I could combine Insectoids, Beasts and Ogroids in one deck, then Spontaneous Evolution would always find value. And so Hybrid Monsters Shupe was born. Hope you have fun!
With pain in my heart I am writing this, but the potential of this Reavers deck is unreal. And that is because this Reavers deck contains cards like Draug and Sabrina's Inferno. Two cards that I have never seen combined with Reaver Hunters before. And so Draug Reavers was created, which also is the only ethical way to play Reavers, but only if you transform them into Kaedweni Revenants of course. The idea behind the deck is to have a full melee row of Reavers and a bunch of Keadweni Revenants on the ranged row. This to unleash the ultimate destruction of Sabrina's Inferno. Which Reaver Hunters can survive because of the two armor. Brilliant am I right? Its wishful thinking that you agree with me, because in the end, it is Reavers that I am playing. PS: I managed to climb from rank 4 to rank 3 with it.
Thank you for your kind words! I was thinking the same and so I had to delve into the deckbuilder to create it. The deck is quite challenging because this deck lacks spenders and Syndicate is the faction that likes to spend their coins. Its almost like playing with a disadvantage!
Please don't hate me, but this Syndicate Tatterwing deck I went with the no unit approach by playing units that combine with the ability of Tatterwing and a lot of special cards. Alongside a control heavy leader ability to destroy everything that crosses my path. The Madoc and Bomb package together with the Bounty package seemed to fit like a glove in this type of deck. PS: I managed to climb from rank 5 to rank 4 with it.
The most recent changes to Scoia'Tael mostly target the Golden Nekker Handbuff archetype so decided to jump on it immediatly. In this deck you would like to thin Mahakam Volunteers out as soon as possible to avoid bricking it when you play Golden Nekker. Also you absolutely want to play Sticky Situation with Iorveth in round 1 to get the most value from the handbuff. The wet dream is to have Aglaïs and Sheldon Skaggs in your opening hand so you get the chance to handbuff them after boosting Torgue to make them more powerful. Cursed Scroll and Triss: Butterflies can help you to set this up.
@@Babyjosus Thats good to hear. Yea things have been going well for me too. I was re-exploring this channel and I saw you were making content again so I had to check it out of course.
I decided to play Maxi to ensure my chances of drawing the shuffled Archgriffin from the deck. Although I must admit that I also looked at other options because so far I didn't need to use it. Its just that I can't think of any other card. Any ideas?
Cheers fella!! I didn't know you still played Gwent, I liked your content years ago and thought you had left the game. Hoping you continue to play and put out more stuff!
Hey man! Its been a while indeed. I got back to Gwent last december and left the game before that for a longtime so you are not wrong. I plan to continue to play and put out more stuff when I get back from holiday next week and hope it will be for the long run too!
Hey Ashdroid, good to see you here! My first video on my RU-vid channel is actually a video regarding commandos, but I would love to make another one where I add Coën to it!
