Hey brother. Just started watching this and will have to finish tomorrow some time. Just figured Id pop in and let you know your voice over is barely heard. I have tripled my normal volume levels for videos and can hardly hear it still. You should be able to hop into creator studio and adjust that with out having to re up load it.
@borgonianevolution thanks! Sadly, I had maxed out my recording/mic volumes on both the OS and OBS. I think I have a bad mic unfortunately, so will have to try other hardware options. Thanks for the advice!
@@DavidMak All good mate. figured I would let you know before everyone comes and complains or thumbs down the video for it. that all said its been a minute. How ya be sir?
Nicely done. What editing software do you use? I use freeware version of "HitFime Express", which makes it very easy to adjust voice over volume. I did enjoy your video. 👍 I fly the Taoge's HUEY in MSFS2020, the Nimbus HUEY in XP12 and the HUEY UH-1 in DCS(My favorite) Thanks you for sharing and the hard work.
Thanks! This video was un-edited, as I was being lazy. It was recorded using OBS, and I simply paused the recording while switching between the sims. I have in the past used a variety of OpenSource video editing software like Kdenlive. Even when I used to work for an organization with access to Adobe software, I tend to use the free tools as my video editing skills and needs are low, as demonstrated by my videos!
Brother Dave!!! How have you been sir. I have not seen nor heard from you in a loooooong time sir. Hope all is well in your world. BTW I can barely hear the voice over in this mate. Normal volume for me watching videos is between 16 and 18 here I am sitting at 40 just to give you a heads up.
Capt Bill! Yes, been too long. My video shows as I can't get the audio levels right! Thanks for letting me know. This was take #2 and #1 was way worse. I'll have to keep experimenting to get the right balance. Hope you're doing well!
@@DavidMak You "should" be able to open the video in you tube studio and adjust the volume over all there. when you edit in what ever program you initially use you should be able to adjust the volumes of each track individually. I preview my videos with both tv speakers and head phones when I edit and try to set a decent level before ripping into a final package to post.
Mr. David!!!!! Happy New Year my friend. I have been wondering how and where you were. I check once or twice a month on FT forums and you are missing there as well. Hope all is good in your world my friend. As for that article the difference between Navy and Air Force is the Air Force is sorta like our military but with recess and warm milk and cookies at nap time.
Happy New Year! I've been too slack in rekindling my FT/RC interests, but keep planning to! I haven't watched any new FT videos in a while and I need to catch up on all your guitar build and playing ones as well! Heh, as a Army guy who got to live on LRAFB for my first duty station, I really enjoyed those warm milk and cookies, but never found those nap spaces!
How's it going Mak this is Psyborg mate. Nice flight to wake up to. I watched it early enough it hasn't rendered in HD on YT servers. This was still pretty detailed. Seems you are having fun flying sims. I have geared up to do another Great Guitar Build Off competition and started a new guitar to fill my time.
+Naza Ameer You really only need 3 channels for this, so most 4 ch receivers will just have an empty channel. It's elevon controlled, so two servos/channels for pitch and roll control. The other channel for throttle. You will need a transmitter that can do the elevon mixing for you, or get a separate elevon / vtail mixer.
+Aero FPV Yes, still flying her, but need to either replace the airframe or re-secure the servos as the paper backed foam is starting to show signs of wear.
No immediate plans for a camera/FPV setup yet. I need to get more stick time to comfortably fly it, and also tune the multiwii based flight controller a bit more before I add gear to it. Next flight I'll basically walk it like a dog to get a feel for the F/C.
Hi I am just setting up my APM in a Blunt Nose Versa. Having problem with to big servo throws. RC1_min , Rc1_max and also RC1_trim does not seems to have any effect when I activate elevon mixing. Had this APM in a Bixler before and there everything worked as it should. I this something you have notice? I have also a Tbs Caipirinha with a Mini APM with same problem. Best Regards Marcus
Hi Marcus, I'm not sure if you are experiencing the same problems I did with elevon mixing, but I found the "elevon output" setup was much better when using the newer versions of Arduplane. See the following links: ardupilot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=102&t=9532 plane.ardupilot.com/wiki/arduplane-setup/first-time-apm-setup/reversing-servos-and-setting-normalelevon-mode/#New_style_elevon_mixing_EEPROM_setup_ELEVON_OUTPUT_option With this, you will need to remove elevon mixing from your TX, and use a regular plane (aileron, elevator) setup. Hope this helps and good luck!
David Mak Hi again. Thanks for your answer! I am running the new style Elevon mixing. The problem is in other modes than Manuell does the APM have to big servo travel. It almost turns the elevons 90 degrees. In manuell mode there is no problem to limit the servo travel on the transmitter. .
FliteTest ***** Ready Made RC, LLC combined resulted in this. Next step is to update the setup with ArduPilot/APM 2.6 for return to launch and OSD capabilities.
