fulvia, 000 and stevia just arrived. started with the fulvia. nice. * and yo-yo Loco was the only retail that had the olive green Fulvia plus had the other two. I was going to get it from yoyo expert but they was gone before I did.
This video inspired me as I got back into throwing as a form of occupational therapy to help me recover from a Traumatic Brain Injury. My hand-eye coordination had been totes screwed over and I have double vision. I always have a throw on me now. And I have also learned that I have been unintentionally stimming with yoyos for a long time now. I learned very recently that I am ADHD and autistic. I am currently working to get the yoyo recognized as a legitimate stim toy and I am ramping up a program at my local library co-op to teach kids and adults how to throw responsive and unresponsive (the latter if they are so inspired). Thank you for this wonderful film showing the joy of throwing and the marvel of seeking to hone one's skills at something. The cinematography, choice, and editing are super satisfying, too!
Interesting concept! What I'd like to see are yoyo made of different material than polycarbonate using this method. For example, if you could use Celcon plastic (polyacetal, POM, Delrin), you could get something even closer to those old YoyoJam yoyos. Also Celcon, due to its high contraction coefficient during cooling, has alot of desing constrains. This explains the much simpler shapes of the old Yoyojam plastic yoyos. By using your approach, you could remove those constrains and benefit from all the advantages of Celcon (low friction, high density). I don't know if this would be cost effective compared to simply machining a Delrin yoyo, but I think it would be worth considering!
This yoyo has made me fall back in love with yoyoing its sparks that nostalgia when you first played with a Northstar but the performance is on another level it has a floaty feel but still solid enough to stay on axis through tech combos I love this thing gonna buy all the colors...also the yoyo edit reminds me of how one drop and clyw would do it back in the day....man I sound old😂🥴🫠 buy this throw you can feel the love in its design
It's ridiculously smooth for a plastic yoyo, reeeeally well done!! One of the best (if not the best) plastics out there! Also, when are you gonna release new colors? 🙃
I was super into yoyoing and super involved in the community back from 2015-2017, and your japan wyyc video was one of my favorite yoyo videos ever! but sadly I started losing interest on yoyo and started focusing on other things. However, I really hoped that the yoyo community wouldn’t die out during the time I’ve been gone, and seeing your video has given me lots of relief seeing that the yoyo community is still greatly active. I’m also super happy seeing famous names/idols that I deeply admired like james reed, anthony rojas, eric kowolski, and tessa piccillo still thriving in yoyo, thank you for this video and all the videos you have recorded capturing the essence of what yoyo is all about
I was watching when most of the trick videos were filmed. I was in the backround of a lot of the video. Also I know Micheal Ferdico was there but why did he not compete. And why weren’t Connor Seals or Nate Dailey there?
