great video, any shot you could measure the width and height of this monitor? for some reason that info is impossible to find (curious if it's taller or shorter than my current 27" monitor)

I loved mine. It was simply rock-solid and always served us well. Then it died. R.I.P. I opened it, cleaned it, though it was very clean inside. It started throwing HDCP errors and then blinking the image every 5 seconds, despite multiple HDMI cable and monitor swaps. RIP, little pointed black box, you were awesome. Too bad the device line is EOL, now. It is way too expensive to replace.

ive been using gsp 302 for like 4 years and i thought its time to go higher end and wireless. I really like Senheisser's sound calibration so this model was kinda no brainer for me :) Maybe this is a trend in a way? just people replacing their old gear.
I have this receiver it’s great and I have my blu ray player connected to it. It’s the Sony UBP x700 and for some reason I can’t get atmos going when watching 4k movies with atmos. The receiver says DTHD but when I watch movies through my Apple TV, ps5, xbox, or apps on my tv I get atmos cause the receiver says atmos on the panel. My guess is the blu ray player doesn’t support atmos. Would anybody know?
3:12 if you are using optical to go from your tv to the reciever, you will not get dolby Atmos. Optical only supports 2ch PCM or 5.1 Dolby Digital/DTS Surround. You will need to use hdmi arc or earc pass through for audio to get full dolby atmos support.
Looking to do something very similar. Was thinking of 4 of these 502s surrounding a room and then have subwoofer. Have you finished your setup ? Do the 502s put out enough sound for your garage ?
I bought them and send them back next day. Quality is much worse then my 35£ sony headphones, right side was little bit silent then left side. Buttons was mixed, when you press bass it changes surround and when you press surround it changes bass. 180£ crap, nothing amazing
I got these for a Christmas gift. The one complaint I have is the distance. I’ve had a pair of the older I believe the 120’s for over 20 years, and can roam my 1.5 acre yard. The 175’s I can’t 15 meters or 45ish feet with out losing signal.
The picture quality and performance this monitor brings to the table at the price point is very understated. I run mine with windows HDR enabled and digital vibrance at 70% in nvidia control panel and it really makes the picture pop.
Thanks, this really helps. I'm building my home theater a piece or two at a time. Was wanting to use these, just temporarily, as my main front speakers. Just until I can afford tower/floor speakers. And then rotate these to my actual surround speakers. They'll be paired with a center & and sub(3.1 setup). Sounds like they should do just fine while I slowly build to 7.2 setup. And the price on these last generation ones are really good right now! Thanks again for video
