Well nailed sir, you know you've made it as a band when the "how to videos" come out, as an old bass player who started in tbe punk era whenever i here a fresh sound its always interesting to have a look at the shapes and the way its put together, love the little hammer on thing going on in this. Interesting tuning on the guitar, was never a thing for me back in the day as no one had ever heard of anything other than standard tune and we would barely be in tune anyway, the bass and guitar being in tune with each other was definately a bonus 😀 Nice video
Awesome job, can you tell me what the riff is at 2.12, i think its like root A# or B and then followed by a flat 2nd and down to flat 7th in a repeating pattern? How did you manage to tell the notes from the song? Ive been struggling to replay that riff on my guitar😅
It's basically a variation of the verse riff. I learned it by watching the live performance and roughly seeing where Harry's fingers were on the fretboard. I agree, it is hard to decipher as there are other effects somewhat drowning out the guitar in the song. I used splitter AI from vocalremover.org to separate each track to understand it better. You'll have to forgive me as I'm not too familiar with the proper terms. It's basically 5th fret hammer 7th, then 2nd fret hammer 3rd, followed by open string.
The Bass tabs are practically the same as the guitar if that helps. The intro, verse and chorus is all the bass really plays. It's a very simple structure.
I'm gonna be honest... I've never herd this song in my life. I obviously know the band, I only know that one song lol. Your the reason I think it's called. But am I glad your video popped up... dude this song is siiiccckkkk!!!! Great playing by you too!! Awesome job
@@AlexTommo it is good 👌😀 in the chorus when he sings "everybody else seem..." he usually goes higher during the live performance so that lline got me confused. Nice detail.
@@rock1837 i liked that about the old live performances, he's actually singing the vocal harmony part of the chorus. I managed to separate lead and backing vocals, allowing me to mix it all together.
!! Rock N Roll my friend !! have a nice day and keep it up :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
