Fantastic rendition. But if you want to hear her nail the optional high C as the penultimate note, you should look for the recordings she made previously. (e.g. Helsinki, red dress, 2020, or 2012, pink dress). In this recording she does not do it.

Beautifully done. But I wonder whether the very well coordinated orchestra needs a conductor emoting and flapping at them as if this was some Romantic symphony, and Julia Lezhneva can't even see him from where she is standing. No one is paying him any attention. The musicians are looking at their scores and listening to each other. Perhaps the man is useful for rehearsals and ought to sit in the audience for performances to enjoy what he has done, though that might wound his ego.

Such a beautiful, dark, and rich voice. Brava! I loved the ornamentation of this interpretation. I've heard countertenors tackle this, but never wish such accuracy. Perhaps full use of the vocal cords is required to handle such acrobatics accurately? Wonderful sound!
