New carbon bars came as 780mm 20mm rise got Burgtec 38s with new v2 funn eq stem way fit today starting from the 800mm as bigger guy n to far over front on OG bars
Thats the way i grab my grips aswell i was looking for a new set for my new emtb they came with odi ruffian but to squishy with gloves so went for the new all Grey Vans V2 they are nice only cause couldn't get your sig grips to match my blue amd grey frame! These grey grips would be awesome with blue accents
Arm pump killing me on my new bike. Search RU-vid. Think, hmmmm, i bet that guys done this before, click play. Best click in my mountain biking career. Thank you so much.
Another thing I think that affects lean is how long a person's bars are (whatever they were trimmed to) and how long a person's arms are. Leaning forward and keeping elbows out/up allows articulation, but there's a limit to reach especially with wide bars. Dropping pedals isn't so much a technique to do for the sake of making shapes, it's more necessary to keep from bashing one's foot on terrain, or dragging the ground on the lowside.
I've used grips from Oury, PNW, and Bontrager, but I'm on my 4th set of AG-2 grips now, and won't use anything else. Thanks for all the "pro tip" videos!

@@MOUNTAINOUS wow. you must be really good to link tailwhips into combos. Send it! I just ordered a new bmx bike (colony) that should be here next week!
Thanks Aaron for the video. Using the five ten and x2 pedals for some time now. With no shim very hard to get in and out, with tension to the lowest. I put in one plastic shim, and grooves were building, but still not really smooth, always takes time to clip back in. Tried with 2 plastic shims today, it’s smooth but the cleat is far out so walking on the cleats a lot. Should I try the Giro Chamber?
Interesting I wasn’t too sure what angle to run my bars so I’m going to recheck that as for the grips and levers I run it pretty much how you do. Very helpful thanks man!
I rode motocross for 10 years when I was younger and could of course smash berms and jump off pretty much anything at any speed without even thinking about it. Well, I recently started getting into mountain biking and I'm here to tell y'all, it ain't the same thing! Vids like this are a big help in keeping me from dieing out there on the trail. Thanks!
6:37 angle you are shoving is not even close to angle you are telling, your forks point pretty much to your head or even above and way you set up your handlebars now they are pointing to your chest which is whey off what you are telling us to do, it is roughly double!! Instead, what I have noticed is that people generally prefer the angle of the handlebars and also the brake leavers to be pointing into the top of the front tire, not the top but to the point where would imaginary line touch the tire if you would draw the straight line from your grips to touch your tire, that is called tangent line if I am not mistaken. You also did set up it like this and bunch of other people did the same, but I did not hear anyone talk about it and looking from the side of the bike it is pretty obvious. Why is that or is that correct I don't know it is just something I often see people do naturally, not all of them but if you take look, you'll see it is probably more than 70% and it is almost always this exact angle and it kind of looks correct and comfortable.
