Three generations of the Reynolds Family from Weston-super-Mare are now sea fishing under the banner of Reynolds Fishing UK. Jack Reynolds the youngest is carving out quite a name for himself in the South West as a skilful sea fisherman. He is joined by his father Richard Reynolds and his grandfather Geoff ‘Norway’ Reynolds.
Seems like the channel is full of small Eels at the moment 🤔 . Was it you guys fishing just off the M O D last Sunday I was beach fishing there and only had very small Eels , it’s been small Eels or blanks for the last 4 times I’ve fished the M O D 🙁. But I am a beginner so I have that excuse 😀👍 for not catching would you recommend the dongle for Eels Rich ? and what trace should I be using for eel fishing from the shore on the Bristol Channel?
Hi mate yes it was us on Sunday. I normally use a 3ft pulley rig for all rough ground marks in the channel. Clip downs and pulleys on the beaches good luck next time you are out . Was that you fishing the river
@@richardreynolds1030 No bud, I was half way along from the river mouth heading towards sand point, perched high up the rocks . Weed was a real pain and the tide was really pushing hard
Good inspiration there., them bloody steps are trying 😢Got to improve the vehicular access to the top of the Down. Buy a key annually to access the locked gate would be a good scheme and earn some revenue. Burnbeck pier will never cater for the elderly anglers these days days. Council need their arse kicked hard for not making progress on the pier. 😮😢❤
@richardreynolds1030 yer I gues the Bristol channel goes as far as north Devon where mackerel fishing isn't uncommon but Barry is kinda opposite Watchet on our side that crazy really surely the water is to murky? I guess that's wear it's just starting to change ?
great session that boys , mackerel in the bristol channel i think we will see a bit more of that mate , we might be catching them from our coast next year
Why is the reels on top the rod? Only seen people sea fishing with them underneath, when I seen the way you reel them in with loops and reel on top I though am I doing it wrong
Good video 👍 I’m upset I didnt make an appearance lol. I was the guy who popped out through the bushes & you pointed me in the right direction. Appreciated your help 👍
Hi rich I was only messing about being in the video 😁👍. Yes we had 6 thorn backs & 2 conga, biggest thorny was 6lb 7oz. Look forward to seeing some of your other videos. Cheers
I’ve tried hair rigging baits for years and found no difference to hook ups , I tried them on carp, tench ,for last 15 years , and honestly seen no difference if I put a hook into bait.. what surprises me, is good anglers, people fishing for years , trying this hair rig, when they done well without. Ritchard like your vids, but trust me, the new rig. Dongle they call it, not hair rig will soon die it’s death, a fad that people jump onto, but soon will be forgotten 👍
Cracking session Boyos! got a PDF fault on the van hoping to get a new vaporiser fitted next week then will be over for a session with Tony if you fancy it buddy stay safe catch ya soon
Maybe the glory hunting angler that killed the fine 30 cod could come on here and explain why he felt the need to kill such a fine creature when he already had one for the table......FACT!! Love to hear his reason!!!!
@@user-vx1ou2by8p Absolutely.....but I can't think of one good reason for killing this particular fish but loads of reasons why I wouldn't kill it. Crying shame imo
I've heard it was purely for weight verification due to low denomination scales bottoming out. Not saying this is true but, if it is, not a good reason!!!@@peteretheridge3309
The amount of people that will be down there fishing now that wouldn't usually bother it will be like chesil when the mackerel are in lol. Its a 1 off. Well done great achievement I wounder how many years or even if any 1 catches anything close to that size again. Nice vid rich as usual 👌
