Hello, I have an Acer Helios neo 16 laptop While updating it suddenly turned off and now it is not turning on. Only led light glows while charging. Acer technician came to my house and said that the motherboard is dead. But led light glows while charging. It's a month old laptop Please reply 🙏🏻.
@@asatechnical I was doing a windows update. It has only a charging indication( means when the charger is plugged in it glows ) And nothing all black screen.
Before taking any important steps I will suggest you to follow some basic steps(Because I don't know if Acer technician followed these steps before declaring your device dead) Step 1: Hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds to ensured the system is completely off and then, try turning it back on. Step 2: Disconnect the laptop from the power source and remove the battery. Hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain all the residual power from the system. Reconnect the power source and attempt to power on your laptop. Step 3: Disconnect the power adaptor and peripherals. Hold the power button for 60 second to discharge any residual charge. Reconnect the battery and charger then turn on your laptop. Step 4: if possible try turning on your laptop with just charger connected, without the battery. Step 5: if non of these step help I won't recommend any more advanced steps as it's under warranty and I would suggest you to go to the service center and claim the warranty.
