One of my all time favourite levels not just in this game, but definitely throughout many other similar games. The music, the details, the boss, I really love the skeleton playing the piano and the idea that he can't finish the tune and go into eternity...They need to make games like this
This level is so stressful and difficult! I never ended up beating the boss at the end, and having to play through the entire level to retry is such a feat.
Shame the Red Alert timeline became its own thing rather than a C&C prequel. But we got the amazing Red Alert 2 because of it so it's a fair trade. Just little me's mind was blown by Kane's appearances in this game!
@frommyhighhorse depends which version of the first game you played, this is arguably better than most versions of I, but if you played the Megadrive version I would definitely look and feel much better.
It took 14,5 hours for me to take this. I hacked big and gamma levels, because they become glitched. I wan't to grab 130 emblem's again, but on emulator, for no glitch experience. I'm still thinking between Dreamcast version and Gamecube.
Holy shit this game was uncomfortably prophetic. That opening cutscene was basically what happened in Aug 2021 when the U.S. was withdrawing from Afghanistan while under siege from Taliban forces.
Thank for the ideas. I tried to keep my distance and let her die, but the enemy AI is so bad that it ended up killing itself against my guys instead of focusing on her.
