in detroit become human every person gets a whole different story, i watched my sister play it and litteeraly it was a entire different story, you can play it for years without getting the same ending, a legendary game it should deserve more love.
Fascinating update. My hayday with the game was on Hunter Ocean, no merged to Emerald, in around 2009. All of us coming back should just form up a new crew lol
we would either need to all agree to not buy these games annually or if there was a serious competitor to them, maybe then they would bother to fix their games
I've been playing this game on and off since 2004 and never knew they were deleting characters of inactive players. I've had breaks lasting a year or two myself and never lost a character nor heard of anyone got their character deleted. I love the concept of this game, which unfortunately is highly dependant on a quite large active player base if you want to make sure every kind of content can be actually played. It's a shame most of the servers are actually dead. I had the time of my life in this game, when the servers were populated back in the days.
They delete inactive accounts that never made a purchase. New world and many bigger mmos tried a similar economy but i've only known PP and Osrs to be successful. Funnily enough, the segmented servers killed new world
Imagine if this applied to real sports. For example, imagine the NRL with new rosters every year and mostly the same commentators or some new commentators and refreshing the stadiums every season. As for players, new lineups so... "Sorry Mr. Cleary, the Panthers are cleaning the slate this year. Say g'day to your NSW Cup successor..." Also, how would one implement Ultimate Team in real life?
Well, this is a crap list. I was half expecting to see Beyond: Two Souls at the top! Sorry, but there is no mention of Detroit: Become Human, Life is Strange, which are just a couple of games that are leagues above the ones you mention.
There are a few things that work as concepts and did work, they just got carried away at times. Infinite warfare was just too futuristic leaning, they got carried away with the combat rigs(specialist), same with black ops 4. Black ops 3 was very based with its specialist system imo at least . Bo3 was the sweet point really, only bad thing were supply drops. But bo3 is my favourite call of duty game so I could be biased and I never cared about campaign.
I didn't like the background of Black ops 3 or the campaign but the multiplayer was enjoyable and I sunk many hours into it, Treyarch does tend to perfect new features pretty well and add some of their own to the series.
I remember when i was playing some random map game, maybe eu4, maybe Hoi4,o victoria 2, and Damm It was a switch of perspectivas, from the glory of winning war after war, to the futility of being a soldier in the frontline.
I was kinda hopeful with missions like "Clean House" in the rebooted modern warfare, it was very grounded and realistic but it seems like Warzone took over and we're back to cocaine call of duty. Seems like no AAA title wants to explore different perspectives unless they're making a political statement
Clash of clans and clash Royale are some of the best mobile games, coc is actually pretty f2p friendly exit I guess for the end game but that's gonna be hard either way. Though cr has a lot of p2w elements
I don't think that the mobile games are bad when they're contained in the mobile market, they're pretty good games for their market, but the newer releases and the average game on the play store are just pure brain rot.
Have you played the black ops 2 campaign? The story really splits off and changes a lot based on your choices. The game has 4 different endings with many variants to each scene based on your choices and if you failed or accomplished some objectives.
@@GLHFVideos Oh I played black ops 2 a lot growing up and it’s probably my favorite one. I’m just surprised that a fps with only 4 endings was the game that made first place instead of a story-based game or an rpg that has multiple endings. Like dbh probably should’ve at been top three, if not number one, and it didn’t even make the list. Also shocked the dark anthology series didn’t make the list.
To me CoD died about the time Black Ops 2 ended, maybe Black Ops 3 if i'm extremely lenient. But that is literally the latest point where the franchise died completely to me. BO1 was damn good, 2 was decent but mid, 3 was pretty bad but somewhat bare able but from that point onwards all their games were horrendous cesspools worsd than recycled shovelware not worth even a 10th of their price tag. A shame how greed can destroy years of legacy, good will, fate and loyalty hundreds of thousands of players had in this franchise. Then again "gamers" have fallen lower than expected when they get a boner when killing others in a video game as Nikki goddamn Minaj, it's sad and pathetic 😢😔
Mobile gaming and fortnite's success really did a number on how companies optimize their profits. There were small glimpses of hope like black ops cold war's campaign and their zombie's mode but I agree that multiplayer wise, black ops 3 was probably the last decent game. I'll be making a video about nba2k soon which is somehow even worst than cod on monetization.
@@GLHFVideos yeah, greed destroys gaming as a whole as we speak, in the past 5 years i've genuinely had about 4 games i was ok paying full price for and a couple i waited for a sale and then after i bought them waves upon waves of paid stuff kept being added. Some would say about 4-5 good games in 5 years ain't bad, but those same ppl wouldn't think of it as 5 games out of 50 maybe 100 total or something that would have potential if there wasn't greed involved. Even worse is how greed not only destroys new franchises before them even being born so to speak(first games being straight up flots so the potebtial franchise is dead from the start) but even more disappointing is how old well established franchises get slowly butchered, Payday being a good exemple, CoD, Battlefield so on and so forth, hell even racing games, sports or any other genre has its exemple. Sad thing is now as a consumer i look forward more to small indie games made by a couple of ppl/amateurs doing something they love more than i do AAA games or nowadays i should say AAAA 😂😂
Yup, payday 3's always online policy butchered the launch of the game to the point where it was almost destroyed as a franchise. Seems like there's a bit of correction overdue as nba2k has made less money this year and it's the most greedy franchise. Baldur's gate 3 made all the lazy devs panic and set a new bar. If gamers started voting with their wallets, it would get better.
@@GLHFVideos yeah, Helldivers 2 seems to have the same effect as Baldur's Gate aswel, hopefully the more "good" games come out the less incentivized the lazy devs are to make their pretty much shovelware at this point.
I think as a call of duty game it was meh, on it's own it was pretty balanced like most black ops games and it had its moments with blackout. One thing to caveat is that I stopped playing before they introduced pay to win to the game
@@GLHFVideos Exactly this. I had one match in the Snipers Only gametype, and everyone was using the heavier bolt actions and equally matched, was the most fun I had in the mode, but because I ended up being in the top 3 of my team, I got slammed into a lobby of sweats using the longbow and it was absolutely miserable.
That's definitely a hot take, I wasn't an Halo guy but I remember people hating reach a lot when it came out, I guess after Halo 4, people look at it more fondly.
It all started when the first Modern Warfare 2007 dropped. It became apparent that they no longer cared about the single player experience, and MW 2007 is probably the best example of a lazy, uninspired, a overly scripted 3 hour set piece campaign that features absolutely ZERO replay value or player agency. Fortunately their single player campaigns have improved over time, but I'll always remember the campaign from MW 2007 being the absolute worst in the series, and a disgrace to single player campaigns.
That's definitely a hot take, I agree that cod campaigns outside of black ops 1/2 and cold ward are very scripted and have little to no choices in them. In terms of story, pacing and execution. mw1 has the most critically acclaimed campaign out there
Critical acclaim means very little to me. IMHO COD 2 and classic COD have the best campaigns Black Op 1 and 2 are also pretty good., straddling open diverse levels with a peppering of scripted sequences that are all short enough to not get in the way. I think about the AC 130 level or the Chernobyl level from COD 4, those level to me have zero replay value outside of spectacle. Especially "all ghillied up" which is more of a heavily scripted puzzle than anything resembling an action game.@@GLHFVideos
That's what I'm telling friendo, don't like it too bad. I've been gaming for 40 years I FREQUENTLY disagree with the status quo opinion of casuals and people who clearly only buy these titles for the multiplayer. @@devin8154
The only thing that lost it's identity was unique thumbnails. seriously I've seen this thumbnail like five times from different people talking about the same topic get a new thumbnail
Actually had this Idea based on a popular football video and at the day of the upload when I looked up the title found a video with a very similar thumbnail. I notified the creator of the video so he'd know I didn't copy it. That's fair that you don't agree with the video premise, I think I laid my case for it anyways
I still enjoyed mw3 and blops2 for their campaigns and multiplayer with friends, even ghosts at times, but black ops 1 was for sure the peak balance in multiplayer and a great zombies game too.
I loved it too with the flame thrower specialist and the Kuda. I think the campaign and specialists made it very forgettable. I think black ops 4 was the last game I was consistently good which is where I draw my line
there was a 3d game in 2004, called "pokemon PC" the only way to find anything about it is by searching ""Pokemon PC 2"" or ""Pokemon PC 1.8"" (double quotation, only search with one)in google
It's understandable that it's under develop and probably will be harder to develope in he future with how GameFreak is stingy with their IPs, but I would absolutely love to see a complete game of this even just for the original 151. I hope someday it gets completed
