I was fortunate enough to see/hear Harry Belafonte (hope I spelled that right) perform this song. I was about 1969 at the University of Michigan. Lately this song has been on my mind as I am dealing with some “holes” at my own old home.

I am 70 this year but I remember like it was yesterday how my brother and I as 11 and 13 year old children used to entertain my aunt and her friend by performing this skit. They used to cry with laughter. Was just last year I Phoned my aunt to ask why it was so hilarious. They had us do it over and over. Maybe our performance was just funny. Maybe. My brother passed away couple years back. I miss him.
