Thanks for replying. I do agree with you or almost. The East facade is „tasteless“ the white painted wall doesn’t look nice. A brick wall or colour would look better and it would be closer to what was there before it was pulled down.. However the Schloss/ Humboldt Forum is a big improvement when compared to the palace of the republic. By the way I do remember the ruin of that building, it could have been rebuilt.
yes, the Palace of the Republic was really ugly, and when you think a lot of people regret it was put down. The caste is a big improvement of the city! Thabks for watching my video. I have a video of berlin postd about 5-6 month ago, is shows the city a bit "newer"

Es kann sein, dass es zum Beispiel viele Städte gab, römische Städte und dann kamen die Germanen und es waren keine römischen Städte mehr, wie Trier, Köln, Augsburg... so ist die Welt...
