No Guinness on a draught tap is good outside of Ireland per se. The only good Guinness that is worth purchasing abroad from here is my favourite of all time and that is the Foreign Extra. Anything apart from this I would not be interested. Whether I travel to the U.K., Australia, New Zealand or the U.S. of A, I would NOT make the attempt to try Draught Guinness whether it's available on a pub tap or in a can with the widget. Forget about Guinness Draught if you are NOT in Ireland is my main point mate.
Great video, audio and insights, amazing chilean wine ambassador. Congrats!. Just wonder why you decided not to talk about the color of these awesome wines!🤔
The only thing that worked for me was a combination of three tricks: 1. Hold the neck of the bottle under hot water so the glass expends a few nanometers. That alone didn't do the trick. 2. Next I tried to get some air in the bottle by drilling with the corkscrew all the way through the "cork" (actually some nasty plastic these days, unless you buy higher price wine). Then took it out so some air can go in, and then tried again. In the end only the following method worked: 3. Drill the cork screw all the way until it can't go any further, but keep turning. If you're lucky like I was, the cork begins to rotate with the corkscrew, and gets apparently a little bit unstuck. Then I could pull it out slowly while turning and pulling. Conclusion: I'm 70 and not too strong anymore, in spite of working out in the gym with weights and all. I don't drink alcohol frequently, and it's been some time that I had to open a wine bottle. I figure if I can't open a wine bottle because I don't have enough strength, perhaps I should stay away from wine anyways. Or wait for one of my sons to visit. Rule 4: Don't drink wine alone.
I really enjoy all the fortified desert wines actually they have, its insane. Not just Marsala or Port...Its a wide variety of em. Then you get into Frizante semi sparkling varieties. Typical Franciacorta Or Spumante types, allot to try, like champagne. The Frizante is nice like a Moscato D'Asti, you really get the sweat fruit. Spumante fer that dry complex barel aged champagne. One thing if you work lunch in Italian restaurants. You meet all the wine sales people every week. Probably the best way to learn
Penso di essere fortunato perché altrimenti non avrei incontrato qualcuno così spettacolare come l'esperta signora Olivia Penso che sia il miglior broker che abbia mai visto
The Ferry Boat is about 5 minutes drive from me. Is it the oldest? Probably the oldest building still used as a pub, but was it continous? For example, if I stuck a bar in the middle of Avebury, would that make it the oldest? Also, I know the Fighting Cocks well, and just a few hundred yards from there is the Six Bells. Now that was built on the site of a Roman Inn, some of which is incorporated in the current building, does that make it the oldest?
Use strong Fork with the screw, dude, instead of messing around with all that stuff. Youre doing everything to NOT do unless you have an extra 3 mos. If you have just a regular bottle screw, the cheap one, use the Fork facing upside, with Tines pushed into the the corkscrew or long screw, to priy it open. You are hurting my eyes with all the stuff you are doing. If I can do it, ANYONE can
Just done it tonight, my sister spilt some on the sofa and I thought I'd give white wine a go, I'd always wanted to test it but hate red wine, so never drink it, never spill it. It does work
I took a lighter to the air space below the cork for two minutes. Then I took a screw driver and easily pushed the cork into the bottle. Three minutes and no mess.
He does not know the meaning of the word "myth". His first use of the word implies that he knows that white wine does not work. Once he has proven that it does work, he says that he has proven a myth. Quite the opposite, he has disproved a myth, not that it was a myth to begin with. This is what a myth is: "a widely held but false belief or idea." He has proven, if anything, that it is not a myth. I think what he thinks the word myth means is "theory". Removing red wine stains with white wine is a widely believe and true theory. It is not a myth. Also, I wonder why he didn't include the product WineAway which is specifically designed to remove red wine stains and, I recently discovered, seems to work. I've always sworn by white wine PLUS salt for an added measure.
