Selfieman is a new international project, which is starting up this autumn.
The founder of this project is Nick Stravinsky (multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer), well-known by his work with Tarakany!, Animal Jazz, Kasta and other. The fact that both music and vocals were recorded by him only makes this project unique and outstanding.
The idea of the original name - Selfieman - has come from Psychiatry. Selfie-mania is a mental disorder typical for a person who can’t stop himself from taking selfies.
It took Selfieman the last 8 months to record his first album at studios in Düsseldorf (Germany) and Moscow (Russia).
The first single from the album will be True. This song has inspired an international team of professionals to shoot a picturesque video in Iceland. Movie director Drazen Kuljanin, cameraman Anna Patarakina, Lacoste model Hulda Vigdísardóttir and Selfieman have created an unforgettable piece of art.
Great cover, do you have any guitar backing track from this session? It would be great to have it just to play with some other guitarplayer as there is no good backing track of this song on you tube:(
Man, as I continue to replay this over again, I can't get over how thick and rich the bass is starting from the 4:49 to the 5:45 mark. Love to hear that sound ring out, it gives some extra heart to the song.
