Watching this reminds me of a Beverly Hillbillies TV episode where Jethro Bodine, after arriving in Beverly Hills, sees his very first garbage truck and he excitedly mimics the packer with his arms and exclaims that he wants to be garbage man! Jed Clampett was worth about $50-million at that point and Jethro wants to be a garbage man..... LOL!!! -- John
@@byjoligarbageman That was one of the various careers Jethro was considering. One was a streetcar conductor and the other was a brain surgeon. Keep in mind that Jethro had graduated 6th grade........... -- John
All this modern technology (i.e. Lithium Ion batteries, CNG-powered vehicles, EV's, etc...) sucks. I do not like all this modern technology and fires involving "these things" present a whole new set of problems for firefighters. -- John
@@byjoligarbageman Not only that, if you have a Lithium Ion battery fire that occurs in a CNG-powered garbage truck, it is potentially dangerous if the fire is not fought properly. There is at least one very good video here on RU-vid teaching how to recognize a CNG-powered truck and how to attack a CNG garbage truck fire. -- John.
