I have a really old Acu-Rite indoor/outdoor thermometer. I'd say at least 30+ years old. All of a sudden the outdoor sensor started to show LL on the screen and it relayed the LL to the base station. I've tried resetting the system, new batteries, different channels. Nothing works. Any ideas what could be wrong? It has to be something in the outdoor sensor I would think. The base station works fine. The sensor shows the temp and humidity on it. The temp is what shows the LL. The humidity shows correctly on the sensor.
AcuWRONG !!! We have had AcuWRONG for 13 years and no matter which version of their weather station we have it is basically never accurate over 90 degrees. As soon as temps reach 90+ it starts to fail/misread. We live in Palm Springs CA where temps are often well above 90. When numerous surrounding weather stations are reading 104 our AcuWRONG is reading 121. Wish I could include some screen shots for everyone to see. I remember the day when they had phone support service, but they did away with that. Throwing our hands up in major frustration.

I inserted batteries and it does not turn on. I plugged it in the wall outlet and then unplugged it and it turns off. What is the purpose of the battery compartment if it doesn’t work? This is my second purchase and both do not work with batteries, incase of an outage as stated. No customer service contact phone number. This company wants you to send an email. I need an answer now not in a day or more.

I bought one of these, it seemed to work great until shortly after the warranty ran out. Keeps saying, sensor batteries low and won't pick up the signal, so the wind speed and temperature doesn't change from the point it lost signal even with new batteries installed doesn't help. My opinion, WASTED MONEY ON JUNK!
My outdoor sensor has erroneous humidity readings. Looking at the comments and reviews it seems like the outdoor sensors have a variety of issues. Besides changing the batteries and trying a different transmit setting, can you offer any fixes for inaccurate outdoor humidity readings?
Welcome. I’m on my second AcuRite weather station (Model 01516). In general, very happy but a couple of thoughts. Wi-Fi connection process is cumbersome and confusing, better instructions are needed. The grouping of data on the display needs to be tuned up. Example, I want to see current and max wind speed at the same time without having to press buttons, should be the default setting.
