I assume your question refers to the “Launch DCS” option. This allows you to choose whether you want to launch DCS in VR or normally. But please don't ask me any questions about VR, I don't use VR.
Yes, I'm quite sure it's Casmo... I didn't noticed it, because at that time I played the campaign he was unknown to me, but now you are mentioning it...😇
Its nice that the current mission objective is always clarified in this campaign. Recently played the MAD campaign for the Ka-50 III and its good and all but I oftentimes got confused what my current objective is.
I feel you fellow pilot... I really enjoyed the Paradise Lost Campaign. The atmosphere is really good, it's challenging, but not to challenging and you don't have to read through a hell of a mission briefing before you can play the mission. The MAD campaign for the KA-50 was a bit too fancy for me.
danke für die sehr ausführliche Beschreibung. Frage zum Funk: Hast Du die Funksprüche an Darkstar über das Funkmenü gemacht, oder nur ins Video eingesprochen? Und, müssen an die Wingman keine Funkbefehle erteilt werden? Vielen Dank!!!
Die Funksprüche sind die normalen ingame sounds von DCS. Den Wingmen musst Du ebenfalls über den ingame Funk geben. Aber die Kampagne ist inzwischen schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Stand heute würde ich zu den neueren Kampagnen raten 😀
Moin moin!! Ich bin erst vor kurzem auf Deinen Kanal gestoßen. Ich finde ihn sehr interessant und schaue mir gerne Deine Videos an. Ich bin sehr beeindruckt, wieviel Module Du/ Ihr beherrscht. Wenn es nach mir persönlich geht, könntest Du auch den Start Up und den Shut Down zeigen. Man kann nur dazu lernen. Ansonsten bitte so weitermachen👌.
Das ist wirklich das netteste Kommentar, das ich bisher bekommen habe. Danke dafür 🥰 Es gibt natürlich auch einige Module die ich fast gar nicht kann, wie z.B. die Mirage F1 oder die Viggen (beides geile Module), aber man lernt ja nie aus. Ab der nächsten Woche erscheint erstmal meine nächste Serie (stay tuned), da habe ich auch mehr Zeit andere Videos zu machen. Gerne nehme ich Deinen Hinweis auf und werde mich mal an ein Startup Video machen👍
Thank you for your advice, which I greatly appreciate. However, I'm from Germany and it was clear to me from the start that I wouldn't be making any videos with English commentaries. This is because the English-speaking DCS community is already quite large and I want to “ supply” the rather small German-speaking community. However, in order to appeal to a wider audience, I regularly make videos without commentary and let the video speak for itself.
At 9:41, what do you use to save the targets and able switch between tragets fast? I can't lock on 2 out of 3 vehicles hence datalink didn't work for me.
Unfortunately I don't know anymore... Each briefing contains links to tutorials whose skills are needed in the mission. Please be so kind and have a look there.
1: Below PVI keyboard there is a dial 2: switch from “Oper” to “Ent” (now you can put targets into the pvi) 3:select “NVG TGT” 4: pick a number for your target (example 1-9) 5:enter cords and hit “Enter” 6:switch from “ENT” to OPER” 7:your target is now saved and to slave your TGP to the target you need to have the number you selected for your target (step 4) and uncage. Be sure to not move too far from where you saved your target because it’ll be off a bit. You can save targets your looking at with your TGP without entering cords by doing steps 2,3,4 and uncage while your looking at the target and hit enter to save it. To switch targets select the number you saved for your target (step 4) and hit uncage after selecting the target number to switch targets. Seems a bit complicated but it’s easy trust me

A few comments mention you only achieving AOA as you pass the threshold. For a military fast jet THIS IS correct procedure holding that ^0 on the AOA indexer till threshold then getting the o just before touchdown. RAF instructors teach this method to new pilots, so a well done from me for a perfect touchdown, but I do agree you were fast on the downwind with gear and flaps coming out above 250Knts. Nice video and good choice in music. Keep up the good work

Abonniert! Von wo aus dem Norden kommst du denn? Bremen oder warum "Moin, Moin" :D Sehr interessante Mission. Kleiner Kritikpunkt an deine Staffel. Erst überlegen dann PushtoTalk drücken, dann ist weniger "EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHMMMM" im Funk :D
Ich komme aus einer der Hansestädte😉 wir sehen uns selbst ja gar nicht als Staffel, aber das mit dem Funken gebe ich gerne mal weiter; ist mir nie aufgefallen 😊
Comments- Deploy flaps on the base turn before finals and achieve correct AOA on finals. You only achieved it just prior to the flare so were fast on touch down. Trimming on downwind is very crucial so you can focus on subtle throttle movements to control the rate of decent.
Achieving AOA just before touch down is common practice in fast jets (with the exception of carrier landings) It is the correct and same method taught by RAF instructors to new Fast Jet Pilots!
Very fast round downwind to final. You only reach on-speed AoA on the flare. Having said that, im really struggling chasing the the throttles around to keep in the really narrow envelope of on-speed while controlling rate of descent

Ja, sollte es... aber da ich das Ganze nach Gefühl gemacht habe, wusste ich das zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht. Außerdem bremst das Fahrwerk ja selbst auch noch die Maschine ab. Song editiere ich demnächst noch in die Beschreibung, habe ich gerade nicht zur Hand😀
