Just going through this out of curiosity however the mean = 4269/564 = 7.56 (7.6) if we round up, the Median would be be between 282 and 283 whilst I know the figures are for illustrative purposes only they should be correct.
Naming your variables the same as reserved variables or standard variables/parameters (self, args, kwargs) is a horrible coding practice that will eventually bite you in the ass

I don't work in government and I am a spreadsheet developer and user and it should be obvious, therefore, that I work with data.
