Everything about you is so calming, Hannah! We are all so proud of you 🩵 Thank you for being such an inspiration to us ✨ Btw, I always go back to watching your Easter Special Vlog- which changed my whole Christian life since. Love uuuu girl! ♥️
Wow! Doing a marathon while as young as you, just wow! You are such a strong woman, and so is your mom. Congratulations to you both! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This line did hit me because I was never into sports since I was a kid. 👉🏻"It has really just given me the chance to become the person that I thought I never could be."😭 Looooove hearing you do running as a form of worship to God. Truly, He is the reason why I can run the way I run. I just want to share that I also had ITB on my right knee for almost a month since April; thus, I had to stop running completely for 2 weeks 'cause the pain just kept getting worse the more I ran. I prayed so hard for me to be able to have fresh knees again.(Haha! The pain made me feel like I'm way too old because it has been limiting my activities.) I can't even walk for long periods. I felt stressed 'cause I know that once I stop, it's going to be like I'm back to zero in terms of building endurance. I did a lot of stretches day and night to improve my glute muscles. I finished a 10k last May despite not being fully healed. My time was of course longer than my PR ending at 1:16 but I didn't give up praying for God to take away my injury aaaaaaand He did- right before my first half marathon here in Bacolod last June 16. I stopped feeling any pain but I was still so careful not to get injured again so I finished at 2:27. I still felt so great because I only had a week's training and the best part is my injury never came back even after the race. I am now even looking forward to my next race.🤣 To God be the glory!🙌🏻
This has encouraged me so much, as a runner and a Christian, wanting to merge those things together! :) Thank you for this absolute gem of a podcast Hannah :) p.s any chance there might be a strava community for those outside the Philippines? would love to see that too!
