Whats up youtube! My name is Hutch and the name of this channel is realworldmoto, so named because I am putting my personal experience and interest in motorcycling into practical videos for those interesting in spending more time on and with the bike. There are many moto channels on youtube, and many are very good - many not so much. The direction I intend to go with this channel is both of reviews, as well as generalized advice and information associated with what I personally ride - BMW. (R1200GS DD, K100, etc.) I am not some weekend rider giving nonsense advice, nor am I a company who is selling the products I endorse (or dont endorse). I am simply a guy who rides every day, to work and for fun. Day time, night time, rain or shine. I ride every day. There will be information on riding gear and equipment, bikes, service, and much more. Please comment (whether good or bad), dialogue always leads to progress. Like, follow, share, and please subscribe! Thanks yall!

I ran the original Annakee 3's 17'ooo kms . Mixed street and trails . I can say with confidence, the new design has filled the gap off road that the original left . As an 80 / 20 Tire no one should expect stellar performance from this tire in sand but seriously that's a non issue . I have ridden sandy beaches and in gravel pits on the original A3 and now the New design A3's . The new Annakee 3 does much better in wet mud than the old design . But again an 80/20 that's a given if you choose your off road conditions wisely this tire will respond in kind . I can't compliment it enough for mixed road driving . I love how the new A3 lets me take the twisty back roads with confidence . It takes the high speeds it takes the rain . My KLR650 has 26,ooo + kms now and all of them enjoyable. From a 2500km plus tour of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland . To all the back roads of Nova Scotia. These are the best match to my needs and wants . They give me a feeling of safety in rain that no other tire has. I have never ever felt any hint of a speed wobble ever . I have only a top box which is plenty for my travel needs . I ride to get away so I don't take much with me. Two up riding has been a breeze with these tires stability is key . I think people with dual purpose bikes who are really not going to try for the extra 10 % of off roading , Should give these a try. If your not a 50/50 rider and your out there on a 50/ 50 tire you are missing a lot of enjoyment of your Bike ! Yes if I wanted to ride in loose sand , if I wanted to ride deep wet muck I would get a more aggressive tire . I realized early on I wanted the upright riding position, I wanted leg room . My KLR 650 does that . The Annakee 3 was the tire that made this Bike perform wonderfully . It is a Joy to ride day or night rain or shine. I had a factory rider for KTM ride my bike ... he loved it . He said the ride was smooth and he could really get into the tight turns so nice, he could not belive he could have that much fun. I pointed out the tires before he rode. I could tell from the clean black edges he really did get into the corners ! He said having ridden the Annakee 3 he now had a whole new respect for what a dual purpose bike could be. I love the grip, I love the stability, and I love the longivity . My next goal is to ride across Canada this season . The open road the many old railways are calling and I know the Annakees 3's will answer that call ! Again if your out there on a 50 / 50 and your lying to yourself about that off road 30% . Your robbing yourself of a whole new experience ! That is Enjoying your machine, Enjoy your machine 100 % With a better tire choice .

I have the anakee 3 on my klr 650 been a great street tire. I agree they are very scary in the sand. I look forward to your review of the wilds. I am looking at getting a set of Karoo 3 for my next set. they are offering a rebate right now.

I have a R1200gsa lc which I use 90/10 like you, mostly long distance riding. I commute in city traffic and use a F800gsa for this since it makes lane splitting easier. I also use the 800 more off-road, about 70/30. Currently have anakee 3's on both but considering swopping the set on the 800 to wilds. Would really appreciate your views on 'em compared to the anakees, will make the decision easier. I will definitely agree, the anakees are fantastic on wet pavement and the one thing holding me back on changing to wilds on my commuter.
