i also did not finish golf story. i loved mario golf for gameboy color and it scratched that rpg golf fun but maybe halfway through i basically saw all i needed and stopped.
To be fair, it shouldn’t be considered a spoiler if it only makes sense once you finish the story. Edit: I should probably mention that this is specifically about the line, “It’s Bugsnax.”

Hey ty for posting this! My kid brother really wants to play this too. We’re fortunate enough to have both PS5 and Switch, but with what was shown, I think we’ll go with PS5. That being said, Switch2 rumors are running rampant and I would absolutely purchase again on whatever Nintendo is cookin. They put so much love into this that we would love a second pass through on a more powerful handheld 😊
I stayed 100% spoiler free while playing the game, the entire time I was convinced that Filbo had been replaced by bugsnax- and then the characters started claiming they saw a grumpus turn into bugsnax? I immediately just started yelling at Filbo through my screen.
Seeing you confused on the second level forgetting that pizza time is escaping the level and standing still for a little bit gave me a mini heart attack Lap 2 made me forget how short the levels escape section actually is
This game is fun. Got it day 1, and completed a run shortly after. My only beef is there should be accessibility settings, like a screen reader. My eyes/brain just shut down, if I have to do slot if reading. Ps, you 2 should do a tips video!
This isn't just NES inspired platfomer, but in fact a full fledged NES game - yes, they really do have a new NES cartridge (for an over 40 years old console) coming out in 2024. (which obviously will only feature the 8-Bit version ofc.)
No its not about its not well translated- Its just they keep the Malaysian English (Manglish) Slangs and words in there (To be specific this is Malaysian Chinese English). Also the lah its l not i. Its just a filler word that Malaysian or Singaporean use.
And plus what are they translating from? I dont think they translate from Malay since the devs are malaysian chinese lol. They just used informal english and decide to keep it that way

Also I realised as I watched further into the vid- Still its pretty neat that youre interested in this game that shows our local culture. And its normal! to not know every culture in the world.
