It's so sad to hear this Nana Kontihene was suspended from his stool indefinitely for telling his family history. I commend him for his bravery, he should stand firm, those Sunyani Nananom including the Ohemaa should be destooled for being such a bully. Asante always commends on Okomfo Anokye and other Nananom who sacrificed their lives for Ashanti. It is not taboo to talk about those ancestors in Asante, Manhyia Palace always praises those ancestors, they don't only talk about Otumfuo Osei Tutu I. There is no discipline in Bono, they make all these messes themselves and then blame Asante.
Most Bono chiefs backbite themselves, pretend and accuse the Asantehene as the cause. If things aren’t resolved these chieftancy disputes will escalate
So you see why these mad conduct of the Bono chiefs will lead to a revolt around the Chieftaincy institution in that part of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs ? They do things as if they are still in the stone age. This chief who is not a lawyer has even seen the madness in his so called suspension. The Bono people must blame their chiefs not the Asantehene.

So the bonos capital town king is from Asante and Akwamu, who is the Krontihene. People of Sunyani you are all ruled by Asante Ryals. Sunyani is purely Asanti town. Please Asante is a great nation including Sunyani. No one can change it.

That region is not for Bonos alone oooo ton! Kwame Nkrumah made a big mistake if not deliberate, by naming a region that belongs to various tribes after One tribe (Bono).There are Fantras, kolangos, Atebubus, Bandas, Moles, Nafanas, Ahafos, Brekums from asokore, Nkoranzas from Amakom, Fiapres from Denkyira and Bantama etc. why Bono? That’s what Agyeman Badu want to capitalize on to create mischief. The name Bono and Bono east must be changed with immediate effect before Agyeman Badu plunges this country into a long lasting chaos.
You are welcome but I am not against Asante in anyway I love Asanti's and nothing can change that, very soon you will understand me well. The name Bono should be change with immediate effect, because if you listen to the history of those living in the so called Bono enclave are majority from Ashantis and Dankyiras. For peace to come to that enclave they should go back to the original name the Ashanti west.

When ignorants become the lead chief as Ohene or OBREMPONG they begin to think that they emerged from the sky or heaven. Was Sunyani a paramount chief before the arrival of the British Colonial Masters? The Queen Mother wants to eliminate the Kontihene because she cannot manipulate him when it comes to installing the new paramount chief for Sunyani
These so called Bono people will destroy Ghana. They just get up and do whatever they like without any consideration for tradition at all. One major difference between them and the Asantes is that the Asantes respect tradition and the established ways of doing things. Whereas the Bonos have no disregard for tradition.
The problem is, the people don't have a common leader or overlord to adjudicate these matters for peace to reign although their overlord was Asantehene ( even when Nana was narrating the history of the town, he said Nana Boahen Kokor fought for the Asantehene during Abirimoro (king of Aowin) war ) but because of the Bono and Asante chieftaincy disputes the Sunyani people don't want to recognize the Asantehene as their overlord anymore and they think the regional house of chiefs can solve their internal traditional disputes which in reality they can't because non of the chiefs there have the authority to adjudicate over each state internal affairs unlike the Asantehene who has the power adjudicate matters involving other traditional council affairs

Hmmm...some of the royal family members doesn't recognize the current queen mother as the rightful owner of the stool although she's a royal but they say as to the time Nana Bosomah (the late) nominated her as a replacement of Nana Nyamaa ...the selection wasn't fair cos the Chief as to that time wasn't of sound mind (dementia) which some people took advantage to corrupt the Chief's mind in favor of the current queen. It took Dormaahene to intervene on her behalf. In order to satisfy the other aggrieved party, Dormaahene said non of the Queen mother's children inherit the stool. And because the queen mother's position was cemented with the help of Dormaahene, that's why people see her as an associate to Dormaahene...deep down the heart of the queen mother she knows they're more of Asante than Dormaa

I heard the wenchi royal family has sued Bono regional house of chiefs and Dormaahene at sunyani high court for the enstoolment of the current wenchjhene. Brekum did the same years ago and brainwashed their people to hate asante. Not knowing when the first chief amakona diewuo died there were no Male royal so they asked his son to be a caretaker and that familybhijacked the stool for 200 yrs. Hence their refusal to come to asante and joined bonokyempem. But today Brekum is back to the original owners and they are back to Asante. so I totally agree with u

So I think you should always think of bringing programs that would improve our state as a BONO tribe and to unify us. Dormaahene is just a president of the Brong house of chiefs for a period so he should not think everyone in Brong is under him. The people in Banna ,Sampa Seikwa etc don’t recognize him as such so he should be careful of how he uses some words.If he is a man why didn’t he go to Asumagya?
