Natives Fly Fishing is a Fly Shop, apparel, and brand located right in the hills of West Virginia. We are built on the conservation of Wild and Native fisheries along side great organization like Native Fish Coaltion and Trout Unlimited. We will continue sharing with you our passion, love, and creativity of chasing fish on the fly, finding beautiful places, telling these stories, and continuing this great culture called fly fishing to the channel. From big tooth Muskie to small stream brook trout, we strive to keep the stories and places coming to you, while operating a local community fly shop in the heart of West Virginia. Keep it wild, stay native!! We also build our own Patent Catch cam Net in house - -The Natives Crew
Thanks for making and sharing this great look at WV's small muskie rivers and the story of these brothers. I hope to get out and fish with your shop in the future.
What flash are you using and where do you get such nice bucktails? That saddle is the perfect color also, good saddles are getting hard to come by for some reason.
Can I use the same rod I use for steelhead/salmon or do I need a tougher setup? Any tips you have for equipment needed to chase Musky w/ a fly rod is appreciated. After 7 years catching them w/ the usual casting/trolling tactics, I am ready for a new experience. Thank you in advance.
Hi- Can I ask, I just bought the same reel in a 5/6 wt. For a greys 9'-6wt. Streamflex. When I opened the reel - spool off, I was surprised to see a bearing loose on the spool shaft with a o-ring on each side. But when you put the spool back on, it seems to fit well. Never seen a reel like that ? Think its nornal. Want to use it for light top water lake fishing. Your thoughts ? Thanks for your Ear.
I've been spending time at vice just playing with it got a nice collection need to throw em in there face thanks for the invite and great video well done
I have been rafting for 35 years in 16' rafts. Never had a trailer roller. I knew a guy that had one and he stepped on it and cracked his head open. Not worth it.
Many days have been saved by cooperative whitefish. I call them freshwater bonefish. 😂 Their presence indicates a healthy fishery, and they are native to Montana, unlike rainbows and brown trout. Good video guys!
