Song always should’ve been included on the soundtrack. Almost 25 years out. I hope it’s on the 25th anniversary soundtrack. Also hope someone or modern reproduce it.

That was a wonderful and fascinating interview. Having never heard of this production and having only seen the films I didn't know what to expect when hearing stories about this show but wow this sounds like it was quite a memorable experience to work on. I give all the props in the world to the cast and crew for staying committed and never letting the chaos get to them and the fact they are still so proud of it and how happy they were to see one another I can tell this was a close group and it sounds like they made something truly memorable. I'm expecting Fred to publish a book that is just a binder of his notes at some point? The rest of the world needs to read about this. The fact that someone involved went from this to Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark I can't imagine doing both back to back and again kudos to her for sticking with it. I don't know what this Dark Universe experience will bring but it'll be hard to top this. Although I don't know if naming it after one of the most notorious failures of an attempted shared universe is a good idea but I guess they have to justify keeping that moniker around. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Great work as always and I can't wait for the next interview and reunion. All the best Tammy.

This movie was the childhood of so many girls of my generation. I think I speak for so many of us when I say I would love to see a live action version! I have so many ideas for developing the backstory of Erika's family, Anneliese's dad and Preminger's backstory. How can I refuse wanting this? I would want all the same songs though. This movie is truly a piece of art. This is such a fun video to hear about how the movie was made!

That was a great interview. I really enjoyed getting to hear Jacqueline and Kiami's stories (And the little bit Kira was able to send us) and hearing how the movie has really impacted their lives and how good of a director Danny was to everyone. Yeah like I said a lot of Dahl's adaptations never succeeded at the box office for whatever reason but found their second life through TV and video. Matilda, Willy Wonka, The Witches even something more recent like Fantastic Mr. Fox didn't do well box office wise but found their audience through TV and video. I just recently sold someone this version of Matilda at my job. I thought of this interview coming up when I did. Regarding that confusion about the music in the trailer I think that was just a common thing done back then. Because the music wouldn't be done yet for a trailer they'd just recycle music from other movies but nowadays I guess they either try to get the music done in time or there's so much royalty free music now they probably just do that but I miss sometimes watching an old trailer and being like "Why is music from another movie in this one especially if they don't own the rights?" Sometimes they even featured music that was only made for a trailer but had been planned to be a bigger score as was the case with Jerry Goldsmith's Judge Dredd (1995) score where he was supposed to score that movie but the only thing he got to do before leaving was a brief bit of music they used in the trailer that found it's way into a lot of other movie trailers. Probably because it never made it into the movie proper it was easier to get a hold of. I used to be in a drama theatre group and we did a production of the Matilda stage musical where I was an extra. Well we sort of did. We basically combined the stories of Matilda and James and the Giant Peach. That's another adaptation that didn't do well at the box office but found life again later through TV and video. It get's kind of lost amongst the Henry Selick movies because Nightmare is the famous one, then Monkeybone is a big failure and then Coraline is the big surprise later on so James kind of get's forgotten about. It's admittedly been a long time since I've seen this version of Matilda but I think what was being said about the movie that it appealed to everyone it's a kids movie like Tammy said and how this movie has helped kids not feel alone that can be found in other things us late 90s kids grew up on. I grew up on the 90s Sabrina the Teenage Witch show and that also had a similar message in it's story and I know the cast of that show have said similar things that the Matilda cast have said about how it's impacted people's lives. 1996 and magic it was an interesting year to be born in. I celebrated my 28th birthday last week. Now that the late 90s-2000s are becoming more nostalgic the impact these movies and shows have left are being felt so it's great to get reunions and celebrations like this so people can share their love. Although because I was born the year this movie came out I'm reminded I'm approaching 30 in two years so that's going to make me feel a little old. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff although given how long I went on I don't know how I could have. Great work as always and I can't wait for the next interview and reunion. All the best Tammy.

I met John Michael Zovath "ZOV" in 1976. On Pacific Coast Hwy in southern California. I went to a very nice restaurant my girlfriend was Bartender. In the lounge a guy was playing a Fender Rhodes Electric Piano with his right hand, a Hammond B3 Organ with his left hand, Playing Bass on pedals with a Beat Box while singing a song by “Chicago”… Then he played a song on acoustic guitar just as exceptionally well done. I said…”Who Is That, He’s damn good”… she said… His name is John, goes by “ZOV”, his last name, the only guy I can stand hearing do the same song twice. He’s very talented, he will be taking a break soon and will sit at the end of the bar. He did and we met and have been close friends ever since. I have over 100 songs from John of originals and covers done HIS way. John is an amazing Singer/Songwriter/Arranger/Producer/Sound-Engineer-Mixer/Multiple Instrumentalist, even Accordion. Simply the most talented musical individual I've ever known of, and now a Author with a very interesting story from start to finish.

That was a wonderful interview. I really enjoyed hearing John's story and how it influenced his writing and why he was inspired to tell this story. It really seems like John has been doing a lot of planning and research by not only drawing from parts of his own life but also the fact he's making more music to go along with the book is really cool. I'll be sure to check the book out when I can. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next interview.

For A Moment from The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea. Okay, get a grip, get the hang of this flipper It's like slipping two feet into one big, huge slipper This way is left, but which way is right Oh, now I'll be circling in circles all night Oh, so this is forward, no problem I can't believe I can do this and more To swim in the sea, like I walk on the shore Out of my shell, not closed up like a clam Look out see, this is me, here I am For a moment, all of me is alive and at home in the sea I'm swirling and twirling so graceful and grand Not stubbing my toes, getting stuck in the sand For a moment, life is cool I'll splash in the world's biggest pool This is more than my thoughts ever thought it could be For a moment, just a moment, lucky me (If only for one moment I had shared with you all I know The sea wouldn't be a mystery Oh why did you have to go) Everything's newer, brighter and bluer And truer to life than before Watch me soar For a moment, I can shine Get a grin and a fin that works fine My fingers are wrinkly I really don't care, if all of my curls have curled out of my hair For a moment, I can feel All the dreams I'd been dreaming are real Wish my mother could hear it, the sea is my song For a moment, just a moment, I belong (I will find you, my darling And the moment that I do I'll hold you close, my Melody And sing the song of the sea with you Sing the song of the sea with you) For a moment, just a moment I belong

That was great fun! I know Gary and I’m glad he let me know this was going on. I performed the role of Jim Handy 81 - 83, and I have stage managed the show often on for 20 years. I’ve seen a lot of cast and it’s still a thrill to watch it perform by so many wonderful cast members. After all this time, it’s still a select group of people that have gotten to play Jim, Flora, Dolly, Six Bits, Johnny and Claire! Performers have auditioned many times to try to be a part of the Hoop Dee Doo legend. An amazing, fun heartwarming show, created so long ago by these wonderful talented performers and creative team. So thanks again Tammy for getting these guys together to talk about something that means so much to so many people. Bravo to you and the original cast of the Hoop Dee Doo Review!

That was a wonderful interview and stream. I really enjoyed hearing everyone's stories and just how much this show has truly meant to them being a part of it. The fact it's still there at Disney with minimal changes 50 years later says a lot to it's longevity that people will keep enjoying it no matter what and so long as there's a new generation to discover it there will always be new fun ways to tell the story and make sure the show is a fun one. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next interview.

I had no idea how fun NLO is. She looks absolutely beautiful. THANK YOU so much for making this happen. I would love to have these lovely actresses do a part 2 where they can share more of what it was like to work with some of the actors/actresses/directors. Some of the stories and situations that happened behind the scenes. Ms. Hayley Mills, I will be 60 years old soon, I loved your films as a girl. Of course, these include The Trouble w Angels and Parent Trap. These films helped me escape some of the rough edges in my family life. Yesterday, I was looking for the film you made w John Hurt (Cry of the Penguins) and then this morning this channel pops up. Have a beautiful summer from sunny San Diego,, California.
