They really nailed it with this song and tbh everything in this arc, because tell me why I was feeling patriotic for the mega corporation I had been fighting against for a game and a half. I’m in chapter 11 right now, and this is still one of my favorite sections in the entire game

I'm eternally grateful for this music compilation, been listening to it since 2021 pretty often, right after I finished my first Dragon Quest game ever, and since then I have been using it for studying Japanese, drawing, writing and reading too, this playlist has a special place in my day and it has also become a nice and cozy safe place, so thank you from the bottom of my heart 🥺🤍
I’m playing through DQV (DS) the first time atm, and the music is so annoyingly bad in many places. Village and castle themes are so repetitive, annoying and boring. Probably an unpopular opinion
God, Dragon Quest music is just...too beautiful. I love Dragon Quest VII, VIII and XI. I like IV and V and I am looking forward to playing III and VI one day :)
I'm disappointed there's no remake for the earliest games. DQ1-3 got ported into Switch but they're just the NES ROMs. Remakes using Unreal Engine and orchestrated soundtracks would be absolutely magnificent.
I mean... the remakes of 1 and 2 for phones aren't the snes ones, DQ3 port is a total recycle of the snes remake but just so you know, there's an actual DQ3 remake coming up in 2023.

I really like how they reuse their amazing music in other games. also where's builders? I hope that homeland gets selected from builders. (Dragon Quest Builders is another spin-off)
i am a big fun of Dragon Quest from Japan, and I have been to some Dragon Quest orchestra concerts a few times. I'm so glad songs from this game is liked overseas and you literally created awesome playlist!! thank you for your work!!
