They used to allow the public up for free to the 60th floor sky lobby but closed it in 2016 without warning. I was in Houston in 2012 but didn't know about it then or I would have gone. I wouldn't mind them opening it for $15 like they did at least once (in 2018 during a climb for Childhood cancer charity fund) and maybe opening it during weekends or slow traffic times of the year and limiting it to five people during busy times.
@@aceee06 i went up the building to the skylobby a few times i loved the view. I was thinking it would cool to put an outside elevator and convert the top floor into a viewing deck like the aon center in chicago did. I think it would be a great way to bring more tourism revenue in

Why can't we have simple roads like before - decent traffic lanes, decent footpaths, nice green verges and nice green trees instead of this cycling rubbish! Bring back normal junctions with simple turning lanes and simple arrangements for pedestrians - also, a few flowers wouldn't go amiss either!
I agree with the green verges but the rest of the shite your peddling is extremely outdated. The current model is found to be the most efficient way of moving people cars busses and bikes and we need to create more.
In downtown Dallas, when they just built it, they never came. Building such a great distance from The Crescent like this is risky with that development by Caroline Hunt becoming ground zero of downtown. I've never understood the classification of Uptown Dallas beyond that it is just a legal classification. In Houston, the distance between its downtown and its Houston Galleria based Uptown area is six miles. In Dallas, Uptown is separated by a freeway from downtown. In turn,the Turtle Creek neighborhood is separated from Uptown Dallas by a park area called the Katy Trail.
