My name is Dylan Gee and I am a former tennis professional gaining singles and doubles ATP points. I am based in London and coach tennis players of all levels. I have a background in strength and conditioning in improving sport performance.
Stay tuned to see some behind the scenes vlogs into my tennis & sports modelling lifestyle on and off the tennis courts!
For the forehand unit turn, would it be better to turn the upper body *before* stepping and making the stance more closed? Thanks for the clear coaching video!
Hey Dylan, This looks like exactly what I was looking for! I am just not sure about the rest times. After one complete round 30-45 second break. Is this after each set or after the 3 exercises for each muscle group? Thanks in advance!
@@Tenniswithdylan I live in North Atlanta GA( Alpharetta). I like your teaching methods. I take alot of your serving training to the court with me, but still not consistent. Hell all aspects of my game lol. I’ve been playing for like 2 yrs. Just want to get more consistent. I’m a 3.0+
One mobility exercise I do every morning against my will is getting out of bed. Then there is shower calisthenics, upper arm blow dryer reps, steady hand face painting, followed by right leg peddle pressing whilst driving.
Change grips every time I play! Also do the same on my pro staff with the square side on the bottom with 2 wraps. Only criticism is the tape to finish the top, it always comes undone and I have to pull it and stretch to make it stick. Love your videos!
Loving the content, Dylan! With enough time, I'm sure the production quality will improve. Like balancing the audio so that I can hear you more clearly over the background ball hitting. Maybe using monopods to minimize shaky footage and panning too quickly.
Move in and chip down the line to backhand. Taking spin off ball. Take ball early as to not let it take me off court too much. And pray it works, it’s such a good lefty serve.
