Much more than a spin, looks amazing. Began eating schwarma in Israel over 30 years ago. Disco song like that 🎵 🎶 'Push push to to get to Dabush' - well, to NY !
I visited New York from Israel for a week long conference, where we ate out almost every lunch and evening. What I found really infuriating was that almost all Glatt Kosher restaurants were very un-diet friendly and moreover, unwilling to adapt and cater for my request to order a healthy meal option. No matter where I went, everything on the menu was extremely high in carbs, either came deep fried, covered in fat or / and covered in sugary sauce. When I saw on the menu either Grilled Salmon or Steak, I tried to order with a vegetable salad but without being covered in sugary oily dressing or high fat cream sauce. To my utter shock, most places looked at me as if I was crazy. Why is it so weird to ask for a healthy option? Are Orthodox Jews in new York, who need to keep their Glucose levels down, not allowed to go out to eat? There were however, two places which were the exception. LOX at Café Bergson in the Jewish Heritage Museum did not look promising at first glance. Everything on the menu was covered in high fat cream cheese or some sugary dressing. However, when I explained that I was on a diet, the waiter spoke to the chef who made me up a special platter consisting of 6 different types of salmon plus a large vegetable salad (no dressing) with olives and pickles on the side. Great portions and delicious. Excellent service and highly recommended. The other place was Bison and Bourbon where I managed to order a large, perfectly grilled steak with a salad. It also came with fries which I gave to my friend. I also ordered a glass of Lagavulin 8 Single Malt Scotch Whisky from their extensive range of whiskies. The food was perfectly cooked and the staff were were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended!

To my utter shock, most places looked at me as if I was crazy. Why is it so weird to ask for a healthy option? Are Orthodox Jews in new York, who need to keep their Glucose levels down, not allowed to go out to eat? The worst place was a very fancy expensive Chalavi restaurant. I ordered the grilled salmon from the menu and after explaining that I was trying to keep to a diet, after much debate with the kitchen, finally agreed to supply the salmon with the dressing on the side, even though I said that I didn't want any dressing. The waiter explained that they were nevertheless obligated to provide it. OK, fair enough I suppose. However, when the salmon came, it was embedded in some fried crispy pastry (which was not mentioned on the menu description). I was hungry and really angry by their small mindedness. Talk about "Rosh Katan". I politely complained to someone who seemed to be in charge, (embarrassing my New York friend in the process), but the member of staff explained that they were forbidden to deviate from the menu and I was unable to order a plain piece of grilled salmon. Visiting kosher supermarkets and breakfast delis in New York, there did not seem to be any low fat cheeses available. Coming from Israel, this was really strange. It's as if Orthodox Jews are being forced to eat unhealthy food.
Good video. Small clarification, maybe it's Shani's first kosher restaurant outside of Israel? But the Israeli Malka is kosher, plus he has other restaurants kosher in Israel...
'Man oh Man-ischewitz' is what Sammy Davis, Jr. said to popularize the wine 🍷 50 years ago 😮. The rebranding along with new products is so encouraging. The mainstream shouldn't whatsoever hold back from consuming. Keep on with your continued success !
First saw each 'Lox in the Box' at PriceChopper in Binghamton. Have bought ACME two pounders smoked salmon sides to impress guests. Let them take the remainder home. -> Continued success to you all !

The neighbors saw us crying and came back. They came back to talk to the neighbors and we were given the weekend. So we made him swear by God. He will take us out into the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war and we do not find food for our day, and my brothers and I live in a difficult life. Our father died, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world who was with us in these harsh circumstances.
