I remember you showing Pegasus years ago, I'd forgotten all about them, great stuff - but 8 minutes for an instrumental is way too long for me. Queen boot sounds good too, they were heavy early on - I do like the 'weird' stuff as well though, lol.
The last time I played that Pegasus was that video. Way too long, as it sounds great. I passed up on seeing Queen live in about '77. Heard their live show back then was quite good.
Seeing Saxon/Uriah Heep tomorrow night. Concert is in Grapevine but it's along a state highway a lot of people use to get into downtown Dallas. Hopefully we avoid the hockey traffic. Go Stars! Go Mavs!

Finland isn't doing very well in 2024 IIHF World Championship. Canada beat Finland! 😑 Thata very good CD compilation by Cheap Trick. Drove. No train available. Arena just a few years old, so was great to visit it, except for the "decorations", lol. Wife was their recently to see Cheap Trick to open for Rod Stewart. I'd love to have seen Cheap Trick but not at the expense of seeing Rod. I told her Cheap Trick would blow him away. Her and her friends all liked Rod better, sighhh. Rangers/Panthers might go 7. Both have very good goalies. Boston was soooo close to winning their last game.

I've never came across a Purple bootleg. Couldn't pass it up. Odd that the Coverdale Purple era never had any radio airplay where I was, though we all had Burn and Stormbringer when it came out. Yup, "band shirts rock!".

I have tix to Game 3 and 4 of the Canucks-Oilers Series, IN Edmonton. Canucks crowd was loud enough that my ears were still ringing 2 days later, as if I'd been to a rock concert. I'm sure it will be the same in Edmonton, unless the Canucks win, WOWOWOW. I've talked to my wife about maybe going to an Argos game this year. It is still on my bucket list. Have to see how things pan out. Have you ever been at a concert at The Budwiser Stage in Toronto? If so, my wife would like to know if the view from the "lawn" area is good, or too far way. Thanks.

Tonight's game was such a nail biter right to the last split second!!!!!!!!!!!! Out of 32 teams, the team I hate the most is the Oilers, so I will be EXXXXXXXXXXXXTAAAAAAA PUMPED for that Series. Boston can't lose Game 7, can they????

I am not the biggest Oilers fan either. I went to finals in 1990. One of the games went until 1:23 am. It was the longest game that I ever saw. They lost. No one was speaking on the way out. I'd rate that Cross Purposes Live dvd in my Top 5 Sabbath items of all-time that I have. Maybe higher. Well, I guess you had to look at Doro for an hour. Canada's Lee Aaron and Doro have been called Metal Queen's. I love concert DVD's but I never seem to put aside enough time to watch them, dohh. Talk about "timing". It is plus 12 out at noon here. But, it may get to 15 this afternoon, so I am debating about having my first bike ride of the year.

I think it is opening soon, if not already. They built a new big modern roller coaster there that is supposed to be fancy. It is on metal rails so probably has a smooth ride. The famous wooden one is quite rough, but that is part of the charm, lol. Hope you get to ride it one day.

My Vancouver Canucks up 3-1 in their best of 7 Series in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. BIG game tonight! Hmm, dunno about Canada beating Finland. A lot of parity when it comes to the "World's". Yup, 2nd hand is the best hand. I"d say over 90 percent of the cd's I buy are that . Well, we are both in the same situation weather-wise. I'm dying to go bike riding, but still too chilly for me. We may get 15 degrees in a few days, so that might be the 1st day of action. Hope your long range forcast has some warmth headed your way.
I saw X-Sinner/GX in the summer of 2013. Great show! That had some technical difficulties at first but they worked it out. A former neighbor of mine from a town I used to live in Grand Falls-Windsor used to play drums for them. I don't know if he is recording drums on the new album. They ware working on a new album called Going Out With a Bang. I can't wait to get it!

Yup, 2-1!!!!!!wowoww. Oh ya, love Tocchet as a Flyer. He also had the cool "Hockey Hair", with lots of hair coming out the back of his helmet. He was perfect for the Flyers. He is very good for J. T. Millar, who plays a bit like Toccett did, lots of intensity. Saw Priest a few years ago and I thought he sounded good. Not sure how he is doing now. The X-Sinner has a really good, tight sound. Bruins - Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada in two hours!!!!! Go Bruins!!!!!!!

You can't go too wrong with the classic Motörhead. "No Remorse" is a classic compilation especially the LP version with the leather cover. Currently I've been trying to find Orgasmatron LP because I have some old ads n clippings from the correct time period. Looks like it's not easy LP to find. "Born Again" is a really good album. Too bad yhat I missed that deluxe version of it! 😑 I borrowed it from the library so I have it on mp3 files. That live disc rocks! My skiing season is over. How would you compare Ogasmatron to Bomber or Ace of spades. Its the wettest winter on record here no sign of the light on the end of the tunnel. Glad you got on the train our trains are leg breakers to get of LOL.
Ogasmatron is maybe the name for an album I"ve ever seen. I heard it years ago, but can't remember it enough to make a proper assessment. Gee, still rain there, sighh. Snowed last nigh here. Was a 2 hour train ride, and huge rare deal for me, and was very fun. Someone took a photo of me getting off the train, and it was quite awkward. Got off very "gingerly".
Good choices this week Greg, the first two bands sound like no nonsense hard rock. Interesting DVD, yeah it would be great if more bands included making of/behind the scenes with releases. The only one like that I can think of is Maiden did the same thing with their A Matter Of Life Or Death album.

I've never been a fan of Uli John Roth erä Scorpions. To Be honest I can hardly name any songs from that era! 😬 Lonesome Crow and Fly To The Rainbow albums I listen to every now and then when I'm doing my Nordic Blading rounds. Not too heavy stuff. I think I got some of the Uli albums from their 50th anniversary celebrations. I think I have to finally start to listen to them. After all that's the only way to figure it out whether they have any potential for my ears. Anyway Uli is a well respected guitarist, Jarkko/MyVinylBar PS. Oh boy, you have now reminded me of Lonesome Crow. It is so far off my radar I forgot it existed. Cool to know you hear Speedy's Coming while Blading. Taken by Force and In Trance have a number of songs I don't care to hear again, whereas I could sit through all of Virgin Killer. I think it is my wife's first time "cameo appearance". I always try and do videos when she is not around as most of my music not her style. Happy Wife, Happy Life, I'm sure that expression goes all the way to Finland too.
