Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Madeline, but everyone calls me Maddie! Here is where I endeavor to share my passion for creating OOAK junk journals and paper craft.
I just seen your video and it is beautiful journal, Im just beginner in journals and loving it, and I love watching journal artists .. such as you.. ! thank you
If I could give you more than a thumbs up I wood, I have been inspired by your work, if I could make anything 1/2 as beautiful I would be happy, you are an amazing journal artist and an amazing artist. 🎉
Wow!!! Just Stunning!! So up my alley!!! Every tiny detail is just amazing...I think I said "Wow" every few seconds...my family is now concerned!! LOL!!! xo
I love my Epson printer, but yes, Vellum does present a problem. I wondered if there is a sensor to detect when paper is loaded and ready and so it doesn't 'see' vellum ? Then I found that I have similar problems with tracing paper. Sticking the transparancy with double sided tape to a sheet of plain paper helped - BUT ONLY WITH SOME BRANDS OF VELLUM, not all ! Vellum Jim, but not as we know it . . . .
Maddie! These are so spectacular! So so so many details. Excuse my lateness in watching this. I truly hope to see more from you as I miss you! And I don't want to go to work either🙂
Totally awesome. I’m aware of only one other who can create this level of work in making journals ( only in my opinion ) I don’t know if am able to name her so I won’t but her initials are JN Anyway the journal is so beautiful 🦉🍄🟫
This is just a stunning journal! I have lost count of how many times I have rewatched trying to figure out how you accomplished some of those interactive elements. I am a huge fan!
Oh my goodness, another beautiful, amazing Journal. Watching you show the key on the front and did not see this coming..... to my surprise the huge keyhole. That is a first, very pretty.
What a beautiful journal. So full of images and tags and flips and interactive pieces. I'm going to have to watch it several times. But just on the first view I am inspired to go work on my current project. I'm new to your channel and am looking forward to more. I'm sure that the wait will be worth it! Meg
I don't know why RU-vid just presented me with the opportunity to see your channel. Debra below may have said it all - this is phenomenal. My mind pinging with your creative ideas. I have two journals under way right now and want to incorporate many of your ideas. Thanks so much for sharing. I've subscribed and may just binge watch for a day!
OMG!!! So happy you are back!!! Absolutely dreamy fairy book!!! I can't tell you how nice it is to see your beautiful creations!!! So inspiring and hope you will share more with us and we get to see you more!!! Take good care of yourself and again, Welcome Back!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you Vanessa!!! I know it’s been quite a while!!! I hope you’re doing well!!!!! Me, I’ve been working so much overtime, and my schedule alternates from working graveyard and days so my mind is a bit topsy-turvy!!! I’m so glad you liked my fairy creation!! It’s been years since I crafted a fairy book, let alone 3 fae books!! 😂🤣😍
I am just glad you are okay, and weren't away because of illness. Take care and don't over do! Rest and relaxation are very important and highly underrated! Just show us your beautiful creations from time to time. Take Good Care of YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Madeline, Beautiful journal! You certainly put in a lot of time and effort in your journals with so many different types of unique elements. I was surprised and pleased to hear you mention me in this video so thanks so much!!! Good to see you and your gorgeous work.!
Omg!!!!!!! Did one of the most elusive and gifted journal creator greats actually watched and commented on my video!!!!????!!!!! Holy smokes!!!!!!!! I hope you do know how much I admire your art!!!!!!!! Your craft inspires, awes, and speaks to me on so many levels!!!! Thank you for gracing my channel and for your generous comment!!! I know you’re always busy like me, but once we get some free time it would be my honor if you’d agree to swap journals!!! I’d be a bit intimidated to craft something for you, but I’m almost willing to do anything to have another one of your beautiful books in my collection!!! 😍😍😍😍 thank you so very much Betty for taking the time to listen and watch my sleepy babbling!!!!
Although a bit exaggerated, I do very much appreciate your kind words of phrase. I wanted to let you know I don't think a swap is possible anytime soon. I have slowed down, I'm 73 years of age you know? So I find it difficult to keep up with the demand and don't feel like I could add more to my plate. I do have a wait list and my poor clients have to wait too long as it is. If I were five or ten years younger I would love to swap journals with you but I am almost ready to throw in the towel. Your journals are works of art and very special. There are not many journal makers that do the detailed work that you do so beautifully. I love your work so keep it up and I will keep watching you. Take care Maddy :0) and thank you so much!
@@bettycalkins9748 definitely not exaggerated as anyone with eyes to see and a brain to be awestruck will whole-heartedly agree with my thoughts of your artwork. I put you up there with Jibid. You both take journal crafting to another level!!!!!! Seriously!!!! 😍😍😍. As for the rest of your reply…i knew a journal swap was farfetched, but I completely understand. I use to do the custom journals, but with my way of crafting (esp with the detailing and embellishing that I can’t seem to stop myself from doing) along with family and work life, I can’t keep up with my waiting list. It became too much of a job instead of an enjoyment and I made several people angry due to the long wait times. That experience stole a lot of my zeal for creating last year. Now, I try to create whatever inspires me and whoever messages me first on Instagram is who I sell my books to. So, I entirely know the feeling of wanting to throw in the towel. Sometimes it’s best to hibernate for a while so you can come back refreshed and ready to tackle a project you’ve been itching to do. I hope you’ve been able to whittle your list down. That way, you can eventually craft something that strikes your fancy and sell (if you want to) to whomever’s interested first with no pressure or strings bogging you down. The only problem with this method is when you craft something you really, really love, it’s hard to let it go, lol. 😂 So, my dear Betty, be it years from now or whenever you deem it fitting, it would be an honor to craft something worthy of your consideration in hopes you’re persuaded to swap with me. Until that long-fated day, I will resume my stalking of your fb page as I never tire of watching your fb videos!!!! 😍🥰🥰😍
Great to see you Maddie. This fairy book is magical. I love it! I love your work, especially this one. Thank you for sharing. I follow you on Instagram, too. I am a retired nurse, so I know about wanting to stay home, but having to go!
You are one of the rare ones who actually understands our nursing pains!!!!!!! Not even my husband can comprehend what we do. He thinks nursing is only computer work, lol 😂😂. I can’t wait to retire from nursing so I can focus on making books, lol. Do you by chance make books or do any crafting??? I’m gonna see if I can find you on Instagram and follow you!!! Thank you Ann!!!! I hope to find you on IG!! I bet you are indeed an artist!!!! 😍😍😍🥰
@@craftylore8417 Yes, nursing is a very hard profession! Have you ever thought of trying case management? It can be really interesting. I love retirement and I also make books. I am on IG, but haven't posted in a while, despite having made several more books! You have inspired me for quite a while! Thanks for everything, and I will see you here and on IG!!!!
