Self studying Cantonese (heritage speaker, can't read lol), French (B2/C1), German (C2), Korean and Spanish (both beginner)! Currently focusing on finishing up German C2 and french :) Finished a Master's at a german TU, now located in MUC (working) so might make some vids any interesting travel experiences too! Schreib gerne in die Kommentare, wenn ihr Video-Ideen habt!
It should do it automatically…. Is your excel maybe not compatible with the file? I would probably email the Studienbüro/program coordinators for the course you are applying for
Hey 👋 You started your letter with a title (Letter of Motivation) and showed the date. My question is, is this the standard way to begin (without address, program name, etc.)? Also, how can I find my applicant number, as you mentioned in the upper right corner?
Heyyy no I’m not sure if it’s standard… I just usually date everything like that. I def didn’t realize there was a German format with address etc (ooops) applicant number is on TUM Online where u upload the docs
I don't think the "Regelstudienzeit" is asking you how many years YOU actually spent on the Bachelor. It is asking according to your university regulations how much it would take to complete under the recommended timeline.
Hey. Did you study from A1 to B2 or you went straight to B2??. Also, where did you get the actual exam past papers from? I really hope you'll see this comment. I want to know if it's possible to go direct to B2 and still be able to learn it in 2 months
Hey Esther! For this I did from around b1-b2 (I never took an exam before b2, and as explained in other vids my German education was super on and off). Previous exam papers I found via Google (Reddit was also my best friend!). I’m not sure where you’re starting from but A1-B2 in 2 months might not be realistic unless you’re very talented at learning new languages very rapidly tbh, but I think you’ll probably need some targeted exam practice and also some intensive studying if that’s your goal. Best of luck!
@PLAYER.1.GAMING hören i liked podcasts and RU-vid videos tbh (with cc in German turned on to help with vocab!) for remembering vocab I used anki cards and reviewed most days
I did times new Roman font size 11 since that’s the standard I learned but Germans tend to use Ariel ft 12 so I guess depending how many words it is I would go with one of those
Hello there! I am applying to the Bachelor Information Engineering program at TUM, which requires a motivation letter as well. Thank you so much for this video as there is not a lot of resource in the internet about how to write a motivation letter when applying specifically to TUM. You have a new subscriber!
Servus! 🍀
In the Modellsatz from the Goethe Institut they have a grading rubric for each section at the end with the answers to the paper…. It’s not an app, sorry for the confusion 😅
Hi! I never took B1 so cant give specific advice, but i would start out with the complete list of grammatik concepts to know, B1 vocab (search on quizlet for example) and practice B1 exams. If you want to do better for reading, i would recommend reading news articles, and podcasts for listening.
Um..I haven't started the courses yet ..can you please help me do a schedule for studying B2 courses until the exam ? And after that I'm gonna apply this one 🙂.
Are you doing a course and then exam right after? I thinktheres some stuff you can try to get a headstart for like learning vocab, and exam format/ find your weakest part of the exam. Otherwise i think just take part in the course and go for it or self study according to the suggestions in the vid ☺️
Hi i dont have my scores nearby, but if i remember correctly i got like mid 70s (a pass is a pass lol 😂). I think if i wanted to get higher scores, i would have focused more on vocab, and spaced out my studying more (got burned out, lost motivation to study right before the exam). Hope that helps!
Hi! I used Menschen B1 and also Denk Mal for like beginning of B1. I then used Grammatik Aktiv for the rest of B2 (to learn the grammar constructions!)
Vielen Dank@@zyankkaji .
Hi, could you guide how did you do your schreiben practice? how you started? i meant , did you just copy the paragraphs ( meant for practice) or you did it by your own? like think and write kind of?
Hi! So the Schreiben part is a similar task like the SAT/A-levels/ACT where you have to come up with ideas on the spot to respond to the prompt, so I did the latter (think and write). So the first thing I did was find old exam prompts and then just wrote the response (after planning with examples). What was important I believe is the use of transitions and vocab (and grammar) so I practiced that too. I struggle a lot with coming up with points though so when I practiced I focused on the breadth of topics (and vocab) and if I found any sample essays online I would read through them too
@@zyankkaji First of all thanks a ton that u gave yr precious time to me 😍🤗. Sounds great... I watched your videos that vocab was a challenge for you, same as for me too... Just today I started following your technique of games and online magazine reading... And felt good too... Thank you so much from bottom of my heart sweetheart 👍🙏.
Thank you so so much for this, I was so lost and by summerising a daily plan with this way, you made it so much esier for me to start. i was procrastinating because of this planing task, now I don't know how to thank you 🙏
plz tell more about how we can prepare for B2 by ourself , coz im a beginner and wanted to get an ausbildung as soon as possible,i have just 4 months for b2 prepration like it is going to held on 21 of jan, and after that i have to apply for ausbildung in IT field or CS, plz need your help that how can i learn german in 4 months🥲🥲
Hi definitely immersion! If you’re a visual learner I would recommending reading and rewatching TV series in German that you already know. Otherwise I think working your way up with textbooks for the foundational grammar should also help if you’re starting from zero. Easy German RU-vid channel helped me a lot when I was first starting as well, they have content segmented by level of German as well!
Unfortunately I don’t think so for all of them. Some podcasts are aimed at native speakers so they won’t have a transcription. Others like from Easy German has them tho
Productive video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.
I didnt have any specific Prüfungsvorbereitung textbooks, just used Grammatik Aktiv, and Aspekte Neu (other video i made) and googled and did a bunch of old exams! Reddit had tips too i found which were helpful (also noted in my other video) 😀
