Where do you put the power steering pump cuz it looks like it needs to be moved for the supercharger. I was wondering how it's going to fit on my car because the power steering pump is right in the way. Where did you replace yours to or did you just take it off?
For anyone wondering, this will do nothing for your gear grinding or hard shifting issue. What is being unthreaded in this video is a switch for turning the car on and for cruise control. If you really want to fix your problem you need to adjust the master cylinder by unthreading the connector clip on the backside of your clutch pedal. Basically crack the nut and turn the threaded push rod with a pair of pliers until you reach the amount of travel needed to shift smoothly in high rpms. Make sure to leave a little play at the top stroke of the pedal. Unthreading it too much can cause the pedal to receive just enough pressure to not entirely engage and disengage your clutch and can cause premature wearing of your clutch. Soo after thats all said and done then this videos information comes in handy as the switch then also should be adjusted due to pedal travel. Just doing whats in this video though will do nothing for your grind in high rpm. Also bonus tip if you upgrade your clutch to a stage 1 or higher, i would upgrade your cmc and slave with an aftermarket kit like ktuned offers. I'd also have the backing plate for the pedal assembly welded up as its just stamped sheet metal with a couple of spot welds. Ive had to replace two pedal assemblies on my 09 Si because those two spot welds are weak af and the upgraded clutch system is much stiffer and requires more force to depress the pedal thereby stressing the welds until they eventually fail and crack.
Yeah at the time I didn’t realize it was just a switch lol. Definitely did nothing for the grinding. I’ll try updating the video title to avoid any confusion
Probably the most watchable install video ever. I hate it when they explain how to take the wheels off and turn it into a 25minute video…if you have never taken a wheel off a car then you definitely aren’t changing the camber arms
I bought the same kit. 2015 si coupe. Kseries should be shipping next week. I'm nervous about installing it but stoked too. I can't find any install instructions online. Any suggestions? I got 1000cc grams injectors, fuel pump, hondata ready to go.
i was looking at the prl website, i see the have the whole kit. if i buy the whole kit, would that work for my whole setup? would i have to be more things, because worries me is the coolant delete part.
In my 93 Accord - plug changes were super simple. In my 2013 SI - my first impression they were making a bid for "hide and seek" champion of the engine bay.... WTFix was that Honda? Still Love em, but gotta call Honda out on this one.
