Now I didn't see that under spray combo coming, really works well Exceptional build. Can we ask what viscosity Tamiya glue you used. I've been having trouble lately with the capillary action of both. I think its related to the type of styrene the manufacturer uses - I'm think of conducting sprue test before starting. Thanks for sharing a first place build out. Especially radio antenna
This old Englishman remembers this kit when it was a new, exotic plane from FROG, and painted it in three shades of grey, as was normal back then. This is a model I would improve the cockpit for, and try one of the odd colour schemes, like the tail section with mottle from the factory, the engine cowling in just dark green as in this kit, but the rest of the plane in the greys usually used. The Braunviolett / Medium green camo seems to be relatively rare on very late German aircraft.
I always see the panel lines on Me262 models heavily accented. Actual fuselage panels were lap fitted and some had a searrated tape over the joins so there were actually very few "dirty" panel lines, particularly aft of the cockpit.
I normally build Gundams. But damn this is clean. I noticed you used tamiya Thin cement through out the whole build. How long do you usually wait for it to dry and move on to the next part?. And for some reason alot of the parts look like they kind of just SIT into place rather then "snap' or "click" or is that just me? Genuinely curious. Dope video tho!
Thank you very much for your feedback 😃 I usually wait 1 to 2 minutes before continuing with construction. The glue from Tamiya is really great👍🏻 The parts in this kit are first class and fit straight away. Greetings ✌🏻
And someone else who trusts Hobby Boss colour callouts. Very well presented BTW & Very professional level camera work. FWIW, the cockpit should be the very dark grey you use But the underside oof the tub which makes the main wheels bay would be left unpainted aluminium and the cannon bay in RLM 02 Grey-green, which is quite pale. The bays for the Undercarriage legs should also be RLM02. The interior fuselage aft of the cockpit tub is also unpainted metal. I have now built 2 of the HB kits, and bith gave no issues at all in assembly. My gripe us with their poor research into colours and markings...
