It's stupid, but it happens. I dry fired my defiant a couple times. Was in the range and just concentrating too hard on other shit and just plumb forgot to nock an arrow. Made a weird sound, didn't think anything of it, then realized my arrow wasn't in the bag. Felt super dumb. Went over the whole bow, absolutely no issues whatsoever. Could've been a lot worse
Great video, just got done with Mi tac. That yeti was at 103 and the dude infront of me shot right between the legs lol. Its crazy how much bigger Pa tac is vs Mi! We had like 1/2 the vendors.
That’s strong pulling back an 80# Mathew’s. Mathew’s 70# is the toughest draw cycle of any bow out there . My 70# Xpedition Smoke feels like a Mathew’s Lift at 62#’s without the dump. Mathew’s bows great platform, quiet , holds great, draw cycle worst of all!!!!
Why is that guy in full kit. ArcheryVET did it without anything and had a better test. Y’all are like Carlos Mencia just copy others ideas and repackaged it as your own.
Sounds like they have a cool channel. Wait till you see the bow reviews, arrow builds, etc. we do. You’ll probably see other channels doing them as well………..
That's why I'm an unashamed Hoyt fan Boy. I had a Reflex Express (2000) Hoyt made this line for Cabela's and like, it was dry fired, absolutely no damage. And I dry fired a Hoyt some years ago and nothing. How has the carbon one or PSE carbon air do?
I just ran my bow over last week. I was unloading my gear and leaned my bow bag against the wheel got talking to my wife and had to move my car and forgot it was there. I was 🤢🤢🤢..
Cracked carbon fibre is usually a huge nono as it splinters easily and though carbon fiber is really strong, it has very high fracture transmission (cant remember exact term).Look at Honda?'s 90s use of cf in motorcycle wheels for racing, which was why it was banned from the wheel in the races
Yes it’s the absolute dumbest thing you can do. They can and will fly apart when they have cracks. I just found this channel today. Subscribed. First short I see is this stupidity. 😂 be removing that subscription
Sayyy whaaa😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮about a week ago @ our local range I heard the loudest bow failure in all the years I’ve been in archery it actually sounded like a .38 round going off ..the bow broke into (2) pieces as the dude was pulling it just before full draw the 🔥💥🌋kaboom 😢it was an old p.s.e stinger …rip hoyts 🪨 ROCK
2000 for a Bow ! How do you think hunters would react to that if you told them what a bow would cost 25 years ago ..... I'd bet alot never would have started
What's also interesting is I'm getting 172-174 fps on a 505 grain arrow on my 70lbs Core SS, but at full draw, so 31.5 inches... Surprised that the extra couple of inches makes such a speed difference vs the video... BTW that's what I get on comfort of course.... Perf is around +9 fps extra....
Dry fired a bow the first day I got it 😵💫😓 the peel sight absolutely disintegrated, but not damage and no detail, still shoots deal straight and no loss of speed
Bro an ice pick will go straight through soft armor… hell, most gas station knives will cut through em too - as much hate as they get - I still love SafeLife soft armor for their price, modularity, and options - all options that their competitors don’t have without up-charging and overpricing their market out of any business.
