Really good technical version of this piece...listen to the original, it has that amazing Jerry Reed swing and feel that so many other players miss . Like so many covers it's not about the speed, more about the feel.. Every time I hear the original it always blows me away...
Clean and unique interpretation, love your left hand movement, effective and precision, one more thing, are you have family tree with mark holcomb (periphery guitarist)? Haha
Very similar to the Kazuhito Yamashita one with different dynamics - much softer - and obviously with a better partner than Yamashita had (whoever paired one of the greatest classicalguitarist of the late 20th and current 21st century with some rando was an idiot). Although I prefer the screaming insanity of Yamashita, I do appreciate this alternative relaxing interpretation of it. Bravo.
Never been quite a fan of guitar duets or guitar ensembles. Transcriptions and arrangements tend to be awfully one dimensional. But this is just the opposite!! Amazing in every aspect. I truly hope your channel had more (far more) viewers. they do not know what they are missing. Keep on, it will happen.
