How are you feeling on the FXone's now? I know in your old video you said it was pretty even with the JRL's, but sounds like you're still sticking with the JRL's more now?
To be 100% real with you, if you’re only using on yourself and it doesn’t need to survive in a barbershop, I would go with the cheaper option. Probably the magic clips out of those if I were to guess. If I were you, I’d just get something professional grade and cordless and it should last you a lifetime since you’re not using it on a lot of people every day in a shop.
And if I don't have a problem with money and I'm looking for the best and most convenient wireless machine only for the old man, what do you still recommend?@@vinocapelli
You need an Oster clipper hooked up to a vacuum system with your blades A wahl clipper and Andis outliner Thats all you need Taught by old school barber and it still works

I showed my wahl seniors and my t-outliners as well in my bottom drawer. I also use shears on every cut, so I have no idea where you got that. And if a client prefers an enhanced look, I’m not going to decline what they want to try to impress someone like you.

Which guards are u using bro? I tried the old lo pro with the wahl’s guards and it doesn’t grip so well with it, i would buy me this new one and idk which guards fix it better
Great review. I'm used to fading with Wahls, Stylecraft, Gamma, all of which have a .5 throw to them when they're fully opened. I know JRL, Andis have a wider throw. They open wider. Did you find you had to make any adjustments in your fading because of that? Not sure what system you're used too. I'm curious if an open clipper on the jrl is much more than a half.
Appreciate you watching. It’s a good question, and I probably should’ve touched on that a bit more.. Hopefully this makes sense, but personally, I don’t notice a difference or the need to change anything in my system (making sections smaller, etc.) if I’m just using the JRLS without any other clipper in the rotation. Where I do notice it is if I’m using a different clipper and I come back with the JRLs to detail. Sometimes I’ll have to go down a notch or two on the lever to get to where I was on the other clipper. Not really an issue or anything, but I’d say that’s when it’s noticeable, at least for me.

I bought the blade and the spring arms weren't even in the slots on the cutting blade out the box!!! Thought that was weird considering there already gapped.
How did you feed the power surge in the top drawer? is there a hole in the back with that tool box? Does it close all the way? Looking to redo my setup and wanted to hide all the power cords and adapter for more counter space.
There’s a hole on the side you can fit a chord in the side and run it through the back to the top drawer and it still will close. This one also has a power strip built in on the side so you could run multiple cables from that too if you wanted if you didn’t need that many cables.

I learnt to fade my own hair in the Pandemic and just got these. Zeroed them out and I'm dead excited to use em 😂 The guards that come with them seem really good and accurate too, but i'll have to see. Seems like such a jump up from my Chrome Wahl Chorded Clipper but the weight of that one seemed to kinda help, so i'll have to see what it's like with a lighter clipper.
