Have you ever wanted to have the mostest coolest off-road rig, but your poor? I’ll show ya how to build your own cool stuff and do it on a shoestring budget. There’s no need to spend thousands of dollars to have fun off-roading.
I Been through all that people are stupid.when I buy I will ask what is a good time and Day to collect them I will tell seller I will message then before coming around and message when put the front If I don't want it anymore after the arrangements I will tell seller straight away I never mess people around and or ignore them
Thats badass! Ive got the same exact car same color and all, i got dirt cheap and was doing literally the same thing with it lol. What size tires did you end up with?
I disagree, These are the best attributes of the J-10. I just picked up a '81 Honcho, the truck I've wanted since I was eleven years old. Mine was sitting a field for years and fires right up every time. AMC built these this way for a reason, they small and tough and run forever. You don't need 36" tires to get through the woods, just common sense and driving skills. If you want a square body, get one, then you'll be just like every classic truck owner.
What did you expect? You purchased a vehicle that was made 1995 and earlier. It wasn't designed to ride nice, it was designed to be rugged and durable. I would bet money that you haven't owned a vehicle older than 10 years. Either that or you are just trying to be a troll.
Just wondering how the Dominator bedliner is holding up? Ive been eyeballing a Dominator kit because i like US Chemicals products they are pretty good.
The audacity to call the J10 the worst because it has rust shows you don't have knowledge about vehicles especially this one. It's a 40 year old vehicle, my dodge which is 20 years younger than this has more rust on it because it was originally living in Pennsylvania, and you can't find aftermarket parts for this truck because it's not a very common truck to come across, most are either rotting in someone's backyard, sitting in a junkyard, or maybe if you're lucky, on marketplace.
Enjoyed your narration. Truck turned out great. Like your two tone paint job. Gunna make sure my vent windows open. I got rid of the air conditioning so I will need them in the summer.
No music is good. Would rather you narrate what you are doing. I have a 1965 J10 long bed that I am restoring. The cab has been garage stored for 20 years. Purchased it rust free from Louisiana before Katrina. Collecting all of the videos that I can find on Cherokees, Waggoneers and J-Trucks. Bed, fenders, doors are in epoxy primer. Will be spraying it Raptor Liner Olive Green tint. Have a rebuilt 258 that will be converted to fuel injection.
I have one, it was in terrible shape, and I was able to replace everything easily, including aftermarket suspension, brakes, gaskets, trim, even clutch rod that was all boogered up from some terrible abuse in the past. It's a horrid truck, sounds like it's going to die all the time, can't hit 65 without floating the valves, but it's also 44 years old, will shreek the 33 inch mud tires in first it has so much torque, and people love it. Oh, and it starts every time, climbs hills just fine, and idles like a brand new car, doesn't overheat in the GA summers (I do, it doesnt) Plus, unlike all the ragged out common chevy and ford trucks, I am the only person in the entire region I live in that has one.
Appreciate j10 content, would love a walk around seeing these are rare and difficult to work on, they do need unique solutions. I really like your build and has given me some good ideas for my j10 build. Kind of curious what springs and shocks you used, I’m also planning on doing 14bolt under mine so this doesn’t happen 😅 but I’ll probably be poor as well and just run it till it breaks and it leaves me stranded lol Probably going to go steel 6 lugs wheels then steelie 8 lugs with one tons then eventually get some aluminum bead locks but man those wheels look great that are on it. Best of luck look forward to possibly more j10 and wheeling content.
Well it's a good review, for me, I just have a rusted out bed floor, So I'm going to build up the rusted wheel wells, by using window screen, same as laying out screen over the first coat of bed liner. Then a wood raised floor to be able to put my totes into the bed and cover with a home made tonnoue cover, the wheel wells being the biggest fix, to be sure the water stays out. So If you didn't need this for a everyday.work truck, loading equipment in and out, it would do pretty good actually
It sucks because I gotta jump in but it actually works better in most cases without it, guys I’ve ran with their boats clogged up way faster and way more often
@@brokenpoortradingco yes just a handheld garden rake bent a little to fit in the grate attached to a pvc pipe couple quick swipes pulls the weeds right out
I'm a 2004 Wrangler owner and although I like the vehicle I agree with you about the silly Jeep culture. I avoid that crowd, I never jeep wave, and I also hate ducks.
