This is well done - it validates the fullness of feels that both Charlotte and Sidlotte fans experience in watching s2-3. Because in watching every scene of s2, Sidney was always RIGHT there in our hearts, unforgettable, wanting Charlotte to find a way to move forward, but ever alive in our hearts none-the-less
The hauntingly beautiful voice captures the essence of this love story, especially now that we know how it ended. I will forever believe C & S would of had their HEA if Jane Austen had completed writing Sanditon & I also believe it was the initial intent when the writers, producers of the show started, but as Charlotte says in S2 E2 “circumstances conspired against us”.
Thank you I adore your videos, there are others who continue to include scenes of the NON Jane Austen ( their awful ending), which ruins it for me. If something makes no sense it is not believable and add Jane Austen's name associated with it, it is an insult to have left the ending in such massive heartbreak, for Sidney and Charlotte and of course ~ all of us. Thank you for creating your beautiful videos and please continue not to include their rubbish ending. Thank you.
This is so horribly sad. Should have been married. Ended with the 8 episodes. Will NEVER accept the ridiculous season 2 and 3 which betrayed fans and was a disgrace. The writers had no respect for JA and her last love heroes. They Charlotte into a woman who was everything whereas not in season one. Otis, who SOLD Goergiana is now back and getting money. Poor Arthur, sweet in season one is now risking his life to come out during the Regency era. Susan given another name and no more than a cortisan. Shame on these writers. I love videos but this one shows sadness and destruction of a beautiful love story.
3 years on, I must say I am still very much a SidlotteForever fan. This is perfection, the lyrics, the song, the actors- all beautiful! I love it when you timed the sequence of the scenes when they are looking at each other, same title as the song. Then accentuates with the electric guitar as the highest point when they reveal each other's understanding of affection in a beautiful kiss. Then the lyrics say's " You are beautiful!" Amazing Annie, thank you! Hope #TheoJames and #RoseWilliams can see this! They should be very proud of Sanditon S1. They captured the hearts of many and made it very special! :)
After seeing season 3, which was less awful than season 2, I STILL feel that they failed to improve on Charlotte and Sidney's romance by miles! Watching S3 just increased my disappointment. The bright Bridgerton-like colours failed to improve the story. Once again, there were too many far better stories going on, than the dubious love between Charlotte and the manipulative AC. By the way, the actor playing AC, looked far too young for the part. According to the S2 storyline, he would have been, at least, 15 yes older than CH - and that's being charitable! Also, why had Lady Susan's name changed? Had they forgotten it? If AC is such a nice person, then, why did he use his brother (who he hadn't bothered with in 10yrs) and GL's problems to get CH back? 😕
Sidney grows onyou like a vine. I believed that he loved Charlotte but he remembered all the times his brother bailed him out of his messes and had to succumb to a woman black mailing him into marriage.
