@leilasendur9962 Oh really I didn't know that at all. But as I say I don't know very much about this place. My grandfather and uncle came drinking here back in the day when it was open.
I've never really been here before when it was open and not many places and pubs open today. It must have been a good experience for her to run this place. I hope she enjoyed her time running this place. Thank you kindly for your comment. :)
Its understood that John died of cardiopulmanory failure aged 85 and it is thought he had left his home in Ilkley in the deluge of rain and didn’t even return
Yeah some of the farmers and production team who were here at the time were fed up with people trespassing and it was never meant to be tourists attraction they said that we have people jumping fences crossing cattle field and it was a nightmare for everyone involved
Yes they weren't very happy about it and it came to the point of stage where they had enough of everyone coming on there land and part of health and safety. It became a big issue for them. This is why I think they got funny about it as it was part of there land. I do believe it was being vandalised as the door was stolen.
Indeed always that long but unfortunately I’m not a tots tv fan nor a teletubbies fan because these are the shows I never watched it is chucklevision that is the children’s programme I watched when I was young from 2002 to 2008

Thank you kindly for you comment I had absolutely no idea this was up for sale and by auction. Its been left like this for some as a footpath where the railway track was. But I am surprised really its up for sale.
I was looking for small piece of land only and came across it online. it is a bit too public for my liking meaning all the dog walkers and "ramblers" from nearby using it on a daily basis will not take kindly to me trying to stop all trespassing. that is my concern .
My apologies all the same to you about this from at the time I came across this I didn't realise or was aware this was private land here as I thought it was public footpath. I do appreciate your concern. I do apologise.
@@ManBehindtheCameraOriginal Hi, i think you misunderstood me, i do not own the land, i was considering bidding for it in auction. having give it a lot of thought it is not the sort of thing i am after. no problem with you videoing it, that is an unofficial footpath that runs thru it according to the sales blurb and i imagine hundreds of dog walkers from those nearby estates use it on a daily basis .
@@ManBehindtheCameraOriginal yeah the main reason why they did it is because the owner wasn’t happy with people trespassing because it’s private land and that means no one is allowed to come to the area
I've got a great idea can you go to the farm where the tots TV house is and the Teletubbies house is And this time ask the farmer if you could go You don't get f***** And abuse again and could you stick your phone in the water to get a view of the teletubby house It's a great idea
As much as I would go back again its probably not a good idea. The tots tv house has currently gone now all together as the farmer destroyed and burnt it down as he was fed up with trespassers coming onto his land. But I must say it wasn't pleasant for me that day when I got shouted and sworn at by one of the farmers. And I wasted journey.
@@ManBehindtheCameraOriginal Dude it doesn't matter you can still go back you can view the house and the pond and the teletubby house at least the teletubby houses still there can you at least go back for the teletubby house
Yes those were the great days of our childhood days. It was always great fun seeing Thomas on the Severn Valley Railway it's a pity they don't do them anymore. But they always fascinated me as interest. :)
In a way the Flying Scotsman is classed as Gordon's brother I never realised to be honest from I heard. But looking and comparing the Engines together they do look the same. 👍:)
Yes it was just up at the top of lea castle where the swimming pool was. We used to go there when I was in year 2. And all the other members from the school did. Thank you very much for watching

Yes I know I totally agree a waste of shame closing this place down. Such an absolutely fantastic place. It's a shame of the condition it turned into after the years it closed. It was always worth to take another look before it was demolished. Thank you kindly for your comments and thoughts. :) 🙂
Yes I've been a member when I was baptised in 1993 I came back here in 2013. I haven't been this year for a while. Due to circumstances with myself. But thank you for your kind comments.
Yes I know it's strange to think really they got rid of the teletubby set and tots tv was left behind here. But they took there time getting rid of the whole set off it though.
